💥 GARLIC CHILLI SALMON POWER BOWL 💥 - For all the best recipes, and keto food porn follow @theketobible 👈🏼 #youwontregretit - This delicious and ever so healthy power bowl was from one of our favorites @shredhappens 🎉 - This bad boy has all the right flavors, textures, and nutrients to keep me satiated & happy until dinner. The salmon is ridiculously easy to make. Served next to some eggs, sautéed peas + mushrooms, and a little sliced avocado I had leftover. All served on a big base of baby lettuce mix. - Here is how I made everything: 1.Started with a piece of wild salmon that I patted down with a paper towel. In a separate bowl, combined 1 tablespoon szechuan chili oil, 1-2 tsp minced garlic, a dash of paprika, some sea salt, and then massaged it into the salmon and let it sit while the oven preheat. . 2.Preheat oven to 450F and put your salmon in for 13-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can airfry it or make on the stovetop…your choice. While the salmon was going, I prepared the rest of the dish. . 3. I started with a big base of @josiesorganics baby lettuce mix and put it into a serving bowl. . 4. In a small pan, I sautéed some mushrooms and sugar peas for a few minutes in olive oil and some trader joes umami seasoning. But you can season them with any spice you like. Sea salt, pepper, Garlic powder, seasoning salt, & umami all go really well. . 5. I had some medium-boiled eggs that I had prepped previously (these were boiled for 8 minutes then put in an ice bath) that I sliced in half and dipped in some chili flakes. And sliced about 1/4 of an avocado that I had left over from this morning. . 6.Put the salmon and everything else on the dish. Snapped a few photos in good light then devoured! . The post today from @healthy.kids.living (check it out) had me thinking about our microbiome and what we can do help support a healthy gut. I remember the first time hearing someone said the root of disease is in the gut and it's so true !! So much of the modern diseases we have today start (and can end) in the gut. Here's a great graphic from @fwdfuel about how to feed your "buddies" as my daughter calls them and keep your buddies strong. To be honest, this ride was challenging since I am still a little sore from the 11 hike up Gregory’s Bald near Cades Cove but my trainer @Robinnyc always delivers and this mama powered through it and became a little stronger than yesterday. purple drink all around because yes, i share my smoothies with my dog. 1 banana, 1/2 cup organic wild blueberries, 1/4 cup steamed + frozen cauliflower, 1/4 cup steamed + frozen zucchini, @vitalprotiens collagen, 1/2 cup coconut milk, and @baseculture almond butter. off to my first ozone treatment today. thank goodness my new doctor agrees that my gut can’t hang with antibiotics right now. new protocols, mold + heavy metal tests, and a hashimoto’s diagnosis all have me feeling a little overwhelmed this week. i thought i’d be better by now, i didn’t think i’d still be getting countless labs done and have new diagnoses rolling in. letting go of the frustration and doing my best to learn from this process. for the record, puppy kisses help keep morale up big time.

A VIZSGA NAPJA✨👩🏼‍🏫 Olyan sokat beszélünk arról, hogy mit együnk edzés előtt-után, mit lefekvés előtt vagy hosszútávú futás közben, de azt senki sem kérdezi, hogy vizsga előtt mit érdemes, mivel tudunk a legtöbbet segíteni. Emlékszem, régen minden nagyobb vizsga előtt megettem EGY TÁBLA CSOKIT, hogy fogjon az agyam.👀🤷🏼‍♀️🧠 Azóta tudom, hogy az amúgy is egekben lévő kortizolszintnek és vércukorszintnek még egy kegyelemdöfés a cukor, és ha erre még egy kávé is lecsúszik...😏(adunk egy pofont a...🤯) Aztán a ma reggeli vizsgára olyan szép kis funkcionális vizsgatámogató tálat sikerült összehozni, hogy még indulás előtt lencsevégre kaptam.🙈🥑🍓🍌🍫Pár szem gesztenye, fél avokádó, bogyósok, banán és egy @absorice_hu szelet (ezt várakozás közben)☺️. Doesn’t get better than eating gluten free pasta (made out of beetroot, spinach and rice) and it tasting the most delicious🍝 I am obsessed with pasta and finding creative, healthier and gluten free alternatives is the best! I typically cook lamb with traditional Greek flavors: oregano, lemon, and a truckload of garlic. I stepped outside the box and decided to re-create a lamb dish that I recently had at a local restaurant. This method takes out any gamy lamb taste that even my husband, who is not much of a lamb eater, enjoyed. . . . . ✨Middle Eastern Lamb Shanks✨ . . . INGREDIENTS: 2 lamb shanks. 1 cup red wine. 1 cup of your favorite tomato sauce. cumin, oregano, paprika, cayenne. Salt and pepper. 1 cup baby carrots. 2 celery stalks, cut in thirds. . . . 1. Rinse the lamb shanks and pat dry. Season all sides of lamb with salt, pepper, cumin, oregano, paprika, and cayenne. Set aside. 2. Place carrots and celery in instant pot. Add red wine and tomato sauce. Stir. 3. Place lamb shanks in sauce and pressure cook on high pressure for 40 minutes. 4. Allow the steam to release naturally or instantly release. Serve the lamb with the sauce and cooked veggies. . . .

To make this dish: . 1.
