In this game, your gas tank is key But it's not just as simple as going for a run, there are different energy systems you want to target within your extra training First of all I think it's more important to target the anaerobic system within your training, mainly because it takes a lot less time and you'll see results faster on the mat You can target this with some sprints at the end of your session 10 x 30s on and 30s off Secondly you should work to increase your muscular endurance, you can squeeze for a lot longer, your limbs won't burnout as fast when you're grappling You can work on this through mixing in high rep work into your strength workouts, 15 reps and over Finally in this list I think it's important to develop your aerobic system, this will be developed as a by product of your training, but a little extra work won't hurt and will help with recover between sessions and rounds You can develop this with some steady state cardio, try doing a 5km run and each time you do it aim to beat your time, even if it's by 1 second it's still progress You can take 1, 2 or all 3 of these tips but improving your gas tank is an important aspect of your development as a grappler, especially if you want to compete #SwarmStrength at Evo Didsbury

If we all go on the same training and diet there will be a spectrum of results: some successful, some are not, but most are just more confused. — I used to train with a “coach” who had a Master’s in science, that gave me the same diet as the next person (yes, six people compared.) WHOA. That’s a 🚩 MAJOR RED FLAG. 🚩 Had a rude awakening. So now I’ve helped people change their bodies and they do not get the same protocols.
