Bicep/Tricep Supersets! Supersets are great for saving time in the gym and attacking more than one muscle group! Pre-prepped smoothies make my world go round 🤪🌎 Obviously, I get my best beauty sleep in the last 5 minutes before the alarm goes off. I make it a point to never press snooze, but I always lay in bed for a few minutes to give myself a chance to wake up (also, I turn the remote controlled space heater on and give it time to warm up my room because I’m not about that frozen life ☃️) Knowing I have breakfast waiting for me in the fridge makes everything else so stress free! It’s amazing what a big impact having an easy flow morning can have on the rest of your day. My smoothies are always Vega All-in-one, unsweetened almond milk and frozen banana based and then I’ll throw in whatever I’m feeling that week. This week I had leftover homemade cranberry sauce (from my cranbrie post 😋) so I blended that with some frozen raspberries and strawberries 🍓 Vitamin C, 5 servings of greens, 20g of protein and 290 calories - who’s ready to start this day off right? 🙋🏻‍♀️ at Vancouver, British Columbia

Good morning babes! I woke up this morning feeling pretty good and got ready for schooI straight away! 🙌🏻 My RX bar last night was really good and I’m feeling very energized at the moment! I truly hope these night snacks are going to help me with my energy levels and balancing hormones, as it’s still very new and I’m still a bit nervous about it. My ED has got me feeling all guilty because I am starting to look forward to them. I have also been looking forward to having my new protein shakes with almond milk. They aid in my post-workout recovery and are honestly very delicious! I make myself feel terrible for enjoying my meals when I should not be punishing myself for doing so. It is completely irrational and unfair to myself. I have to eat to train, NOT train to eat. I’m trying to push past these thoughts as we speak, but for now, here’s breakfast! I am fueling up with: plain 2% Greek yogurt (Fage) topped with puffed wheat, frozen raspberries, chia pudding (chia seeds + water), coconut chips, and cinnamon! 👅💦✨ The changes this week are very nerve racking, but I am so ready to face them head on. After I’m done at school, I’m off to my gym session! Today is my heavy leg day, so I’m focusing on compound movements with heavier weights and will then focus on the more “jumpy” movements on my Friday legs day. I want to increase the strength, or lack there of, in my legs, and this is how it will happen! 🙅🏻 I have convinced myself I must do certain movements on certain days of the week, and that if I don’t, I’m being “lazy” or am “not as serious” about my training. I know that this is totally untrue and is anorexia’s way of making me feel like crap. I am unhappy with how my body is performing and appearing, so the only way to change it is by making the changes for myself. I must continue on this path and trust body my body and mind. I know what I am doing. I haw all the research right here in front of me. I have the proof of this community and what they have gone through. I have proof that what I’ve been doing was far too much for my body and that I was not fueling myself properly, so it’s up to me to pick up the new manual for a stronger and healthier body.

HIIT WORKOUT 🤢🤮 • Battle ropes - 30 secs • Box jumps -30 secs • Pulse squats - 30 secs • Jump squats into tuck - 30 secs I only managed 2 rounds and the second attempt was half arsed, wanted to do a HIIT session and film it. So I forced my recovering body to commit and complete this madness! ~ Save it, and give it a try! ⚡️4 Upper Body Moves on the Smith Machine ⚡️i used to rely a lot on the smith machine for learning proper form for my lower body moves, and it's incredibly important!! Although recently I've been using the smith machine for Upper body circuits. I used to techniques to really use this machine to its advantage: negatives and pulses....say what? 😖 let's rewind 👉 . . X10-12 one arm rows each side (targets your back lats and biceps) I will lower the bar for a count of six seconds. This is going to help develop my lats which tent to take FOREVER to get stronger. Doing negatives can help ignite that strength. X10-12 overhead press (targets upper back and shoulders) notice I'm bending over slightly - but not hunching... to target the whole upper back and shoulder blades. I am doing pulses at the bottom to lengthen the amount of time I'm under tension 🔥 X10-12 one arm overhead press these are a real killer, I couldn't do this with any additional weight (which is fine the bar alone is already 45lbs) but I'd like to add weight! For an extra challenge I am doing negatives (a count of six seconds on the way down and a count of 3 up) to get that tension and explosiveness ☄️it's a sincher! But I'm hoping that with a couple more of these moves a shy lil gal will feel a little more comfortable approaching a new machine at the gym. Happy Tuesday guys! at New York, New York

💖TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY 💖 here we go another cardio vs. weights post! I'm aware I'm standing at different angles in these pics but I still feel like there's a big difference in the size of my glutes and my quads! . The first pic was back in 2014 when I was purely doing cardio, running 3 or 4 10km runs a week, and I never did any weights.🏃‍♀️ I ate minimally. . The second pic was a few weeks back. I still do cardio once or twice a week but it's in the form of HIIT. Short, sharp and intense! I train my legs 2 or 3 times a week, focusing on lifting heavy. I now also eat double the amount of food compared to 2014 🍑 loads of protein! . Current physique update: winter fluff and proud. • Ok on the reals I’ve been bulking for a long time now. Before my bulk I weighed 145 pounds on my heavier days and now I’m sitting around 155 on my lighter days. It’s hard to narrow down how much muscle vs fat I’ve gained, but I’m not too worried about it. (Mostly worried about my cut after December 😂🤷🏻‍♀️). But I’m allowing myself to enjoy all the yummy holiday foods because deprivation is not the way to a healthy lifestyle. Tip: instead of worrying how much weight you’ll gain this holiday season, try focusing on being ACTIVE. Food is energy, so let’s use that as fuel to make our bodies do as much as they can and push ourselves to new limits! 💗 at Kalamazoo, Michigan

Bc when you’re a bit under the weather and want pancakes but don’t want to put in the effort to make them, you make the next best thing... A mug muffin in the microwave that took 2 min and 30 seconds to make! For a quick easy breakfast I used @kodiakcakes dark chocolate pancake mix.
