Here’s something for you to think about…Just a thought - no right or wrong answer here ✨ Do you want to eat better or lose weight but find yourself eating things like cookies even if you don’t really want to and know it’s not helping you? 🍪 Sometimes things like cravings are just cravings, sometimes they might be a little bit deeper than what you see on the surface… 🥐 We all have powerful subconscious minds that can, and often do, derail us from reaching our goals. Humans are really great at self-sabotage, and a lot of it comes from the subconscious, and usually stems from fear 🍫 As weird as it sounds, we self-sabotage ourselves even when we have goals that we really want to accomplish 🍕 Weight loss, and changing body shape, especially as we get thinner/fitter, is a place where self-sabotage can show up. Our inside person hasn’t yet caught up to how our outside shape looks, and it can be scary to hear comments about how good we look, or feel like we’re becoming more visible - compliments can feel uncomfortable, a new self can feel uncomfortable, and our first reaction, even if we don’t know it, is to retreat into the comfort zone - thats where the self sabotage can come in, especially when it starts to show up in food, missing workouts and things like that 🍦 So, if this sounds familiar, have a think about how things are feeling for you - if you’ve made a big investment in your health and fitness and have been having some success but are struggling - be kind to yourself 💜 As you change physically and shift your overall lifestyle in a healthier direction, things can feel very uncomfortable for a while before they get comfortable again ✨ As hard as it feels right now, know that it will get easier. And, make sure to seek out support from someone who you can rely on to help lift you up and keep you going 💜

I read the questions in the morning and then think about them all day. One thing I can say about this challenge is that it's forced me to face a lot things: realities, dreams, fears, and look at them head on. My business shift recently has been toward selling #fineartprints and, as you can see, I'm perched not in my studio, but here at the coffee table. I work as a #graphicdesigner by day, and find the only time I have to paint is at night, but it also doesn't feel like work when I'm watching a favorite show! When we took our trip to Charleston at the in August, I don't think I appreciated how much I needed the time away until we were actually on our way. I am notoriously guilty of saying we are too busy to take a break, we don't have the time, or there is one more project we can do. I am guilty of feeling that it is necessary to fill every minute and say yes to all the things, not recognizing that the break and the pause are actually just, if not more essential. So when we took our trip, I embraced quiet, being slow, and just sitting. Sitting with my thoughts and sitting with what we truly wanted to create in this last quarter of the year. I read things that inspired me, we thought out loud and day dreamed together and I wrote. ⠀ Sometimes you have to press pause to see how far you've come so that you can truly listen to your heart to decide where you want to go next. Have you pressed pause lately? Use your Happy Balance Planner and find a day where your todo list and schedule actually has pause written down. That's all. Because, sometimes that's all you need. Take a pic of your pause day and tag us...that's a wonderful thing to be accountable for!

I promised a recipe for you guys. 🙃 I make them differently everytime as I'm trying to evolve and improve the recipe. Keto Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups Ingredients: -Peanut Butter- ✔️4 Cups of Cocktail Peanuts ✔️ 3 Tbsp of Coconut Oil ✔️ 2 Tbsp of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder ✔️ 3 Tbsp of Heavy Whipping Cream ✔️ 1 Stick of Unsalted Butter (melted) ✔️ 5 Tbsp of Truvia or Your Preferred Low Calorie Sweetener -Chocolate Layer- ✔️ 1 1/4 cups of sugar free chocolate chips ✔️ 4 Tbsp of Heavy Whipping Cream Instructions: ✔️ Using a blender or food processor, blend cocktail peanuts to the desired consistency ✔️ Add in all other peanut butter ingredients ✔️Blend until fully combined then set aside ✔️ Combine chocolate layer Ingredients, and heat slowly until a pourable consistency is reached ✔️ Using muffin liners evenly pour the chocolate ingredients into the liners, spreading to cover the bottom as you go. ✔️ Evenly pour the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate layer ✔️ Once all liners are have been filled, place the cups into the freezer and chill until they have "set" ✔️ Keep frozen or refrigerated until ready to eat ✔️ Enjoy! #Health #FitFam #BeastMode #Fit #Workout #Motivation #Gym #Healthy #Fitness #FollowMe #Goals #Change #MindOverMatter #ChangeYourLife #Entrepreneur #Keto #Better #Ketones #Bigger #Faster #Stronger #Fitspo #Inspiration #Tattoos #Beard #GetFit #GoalSetting #GoGetIt #DreamBig #IWill

Laying in bed tonight with a grateful heart. It’s so easy to find yourself complaining about things, wishing this or that was easier but that doesn’t solve anything. . There is so much hate going on in this world, so many people are suffering and struggling to find fresh drinking water or find a place to lay their heads. . I am truly grateful for all that I have in life, especially the ability to live my passion. I have been passionate about helping people from a young age. I’m so grateful that I don’t hate my job, I’m grateful that my coaching business allows me to give back, not only in helping people with health and fitness, but also allows me to help donate to causes I believe in. . One thing I’ve learnt over the years, is no matter what you do, what circumstances you might be facing, always give! The more you give the more you will get back in return. . Let's be honest: sometimes, chopping vegetables is annoying. . . In fact, doing something that will make us feel better in the end is often the most inconvenient choice. 🤔 . . It's all about deciding what matters most to us. Sometimes it's okay to take a break and just go out for dinner or skip the workout or eat the dessert. . . But sometimes, we have to lean in to the discomfort, push ourselves a little - even if we don't like it - and then reap the benefits. . . And that's the thing about these little annoying tasks - they do make such a positive difference - especially cumulatively. . . Chopping vegetables🥕 (when we'd rather do frozen pizza🍕) or putting on workout clothes🏋 (when we'd rather stay in bed😪) or going to bed on time🛌 (when we'd rather watch Netflix📺) or drinking water⛆ or saying no to the Halloween candy🍬🚫 - these decisions take a little bit of effort, but it's always so worth it in the end. . . It's these little things that give our brain this sense of safety and our body a peace knowing that we'll take care of ourselves. . . We build up this awesome sense of security in being ourselves - it starts feeling really good to be alive. . . Being taken care of, whether by our mom or by ourselves (when we are the mom!) feels so good, and it's totally worth the slight inconvenience. . . What slightly annoying thing did you do today to take better care of yourself? . . I had a glass of water this afternoon when I was feeling snacky but I knew I was just thirsty.
