14th instalment. This scene (which began in yesterday's extract and will probably run into Sundas) has always been one of my favourite scenes. A short glimpse of Jareth and Aren, not as the wise elders or powerful fighters but as a loving couple who also have a normal home life. The Ponfour symbol worn by several characters in my book. The shape symbolises the Light of the universe, and also symbolises the merging of two into something greater than the sum of its parts.
