THERE IS something about chicken carbonara that gets my fam EVERYtime the hubby especially. I manage to sneak in a few veg - radish - kale - spinach - onion - garlic - capsicum. We use a good quality cream and butter mix with salt and pepper. Top with parmesan cheese and this is the πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

Here I roasted #sweetpotato & onion (sweet and caramely) at 180Β°C for 30ish mins.Then stir fried (separately) #kale & #zucchini with salt & pepper until soft. There is a massive link between gut health and mental health and it’s something I am so so interested in learning and researching about. The impact of stress and anxiety on your gut health is huge and vice versa so it can become crazy out of control round about if you don’t do anything about it. 5 things you can do daily to improve your gut health: 1. Take a daily probiotic (liquid or powder that turns to liquid are the best forms as pills/tablets are harder to digest and usually digest in the wrong part of the stomach) 2. Eat fermented veggies in a variety of types- sauerkraut, carrots, beetroot radish ect. 3. Drink bone broth or miso soup. 4. Reduce stress - sleep more, cut down on Work, remove stressful people or situations from your life and if you can’t do that learn to meditate or practice yoga and mindfulness techniques to manage the stress levels. 5. Reduce or cut out refined sugars and even fructose’s from your diet. Ps I’m not a nutritionist just sharing my thoughts and experience after 10 years battling mental, stomach and gut issues.

Broccoli soup πŸ’šπŸ’š Perfect for this rainy weather we've been having in Brisbane πŸ‘ŒπŸ» Recipe below. ____________________________________ Ingredients: β€’ 1 onion β€’ 7 cloves garlic β€’ coconut oil β€’ 2 heads broccoli β€’ 1 cup bone broth β€’ 4 cup vegetable stock β€’ 1 cup coconut milk β€’ salt and pepper β€’ 1 cup shredded roast chicken β€’ Top with mushrooms and cheese if you please! Directions: 1. In a soup pot add oil, onion and garlic. 2. Chop broccoli and add to pan along with bone broth, coconut milk and stock. Cook until broccoli is tender. 3. Once tender use immersion blender to blend contents. 4.
