My transformation!!! These past 2 years, I started with 118lb! Sitting around 135-140 now! I learned a lot about my body!!! I learned that it's super easy for me to build my upper body and that I have a fear of building my lower body, thinking that I won't be as strong in pole! lol I also learned that I build muscle quite fast and super slow at losing fat! The number on the scale matters to me, because of my frame, a little bit of extra weight shows!!! I sort fat in my tummy, glutes and thighs!!! All these are good to know! The real question is did I pick up the weight or just stand purdy by it? The answer: Both!๐Ÿ˜‰ For this #motivationmonday I am going to answer a question that I get asked a lot, especially from new clients. "How do you find the motivation to train?" I'm never going to bullshit anyone on this answer. The truth...I usually don't. Sometimes you just don't feel like training. And sometimes you want to lift all the weights! There is no magical cure, though. I'm not going to tell you that I do this or that to get motivated. There are many times I even finish a workout and am still feeling sluggish and unmotivated. Unfortunately, if you have certain goals in life one must suck it up every once in a while and just do the steps that need to be done to reach them. If you have a paper for college to write, I'm sure the majority if the time you don't want to sit down and write it, but you know that you have a reason and an end goal for doing it so you do. While I wish I could wake up every morning excited to train (and there are times I do), that's just not going to happen. Some days will feel better than others. However, when I do squatting I also try them with Bosu Ball! This targets your muscles so much better than regular squats! It will help you to improve your balance as well. I am still shaking although I have been doing this squat for 2 months. If you are bored with normal squat, use this ball. Staying true to this lean bulk ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ A BIG mistake I made when I first started lifting was that I ate soooo much passed the point where I was full, I was forcing my self to eat more than I could handle because I thought thatโ€™s what bulking meant, but all that ended up happening was I gained 30 lbs in about 2-3 months of mostly fat, and I didnโ€™t look good at all, I just got a very dirty bulk look and I wasnโ€™t getting that aesthetic look I wanted. Dirty bulking doesnโ€™t really do much, you might gain a bit more strength and muscle then you would lean bulking but that difference isnโ€™t really worth it to me, especially since it takes sooo long to lose all that fat from dirty bulking. Bottom line, just track your macros, and lean bulk, dirty bulking is not worth it.
