Finding motivation to workout during these times can definitely be a struggle.. I have been exercising in my bedroom (which is too small for me to record in) but I need to get in my backyard soon! I just feel like I push myself harder when I’m outside 👊🏼 . Oh what I would do to be back in the gym 😿

STARTING MY 2020 CUT✂️ I’m about 12 weeks out from my *hopeful* hen do in Ibizaaaa 🌴 and my first wedding dress fittings!👰🏼 . In my heart I know Ibiza will be postponed but I neeeed a concrete goal to work towards or I just won’t stick to it, I’m extrinsically motivated like that🤷🏼‍♀️ Even though the wedding is 6 months away (still assuming it’ll be fine -bring on the huge party after all this shite💃🏼) I need to be in ‘wedding shape’ by my September fittings💍 I’m a nightmare, I need the accountability or it won’t end up happening🤣 . The plan: Count my calories everyday & weigh in twice a week to make sure I’m on the right track (the exact same things I did before) 🍎 the scales are NOT the only way to measure progress so don’t worry if you like to go off how clothes fit etc, I just know they work for me! 🥒Loosely track macros mainly focusing on protein (at least 1g per kg of body weight but aim for more) Macros are the part I struggled with last time - I just thought: I’ve got so much weight to lose, I’d rather keep my luxuries (🍰🍣🍕) and make them fit the calories than give up altogether. (Just my mindset). 🏋🏼‍♀️Workout wise I’ll be sticking to home WODs, runs, yoga and long walks entirely dependent on what I feel like doing🤍aiming to do SOMETHING everyday🍃 . ⭐️PLEASE don’t take this as a sign you need to lose weight too. It’s a personal goal of mine that I just wanna share🤗🤗 〰️Also be mindful that someone else’s day 1 will be completely different to your day 1🐛 This isn’t really my day 1, I’ve just enjoyed a years ‘stop along the way’ in the middle of my journey because I’ve been genuinely happy with how I look and feel and the BALANCE I’ve enjoyed in life🍔🍟 . ⚫️I used to weight 86kg. Damn that’s the first time I’ve said that on here. I’m now around 70-71kg and have no ‘number’ in particular I’m going to aim for - I think that’s exactly how using the scales can get ugly. @courtneydblack has just killed me off with her Warrior Wednesday class (defo don’t look like this photo now lol I’m a sweaty mess)🥵 although this week is an absolute killer I’m really trying my hardest to keep up with all the classes and get in a daily walk / 10,000 steps. anyone who has not tried any of Courtney’s workouts you NEED to! I did the first 4 exercises x2 to complete one 4min round of Tabata. I did the same for another round. I then followed the same structure using the other 4 exercises. —— Don’t forget to warm up first!! I like to do mobility work and then few reps of each exercises slow and controlled. —— 🚨For those of you who see this and are new to exercise or coming back to exercise after a long break, try out the modified moves that pop up in the top right corner. If you can’t do them right now then don’t, try the next one. Start off slowly, don’t time yourself, just try to perform the moves with control, perhaps for 10 reps each. You might try all exercises once and feel you’ve worked hard. Great! Try a little more next time. You don’t have to do a lot, it could be 10-15minutes a day and increase gradually week by week. Build the habit and let your body adapt in good time. The main thing is work at your own pace and don’t just copy what you see. Now let’s move that body! 😎

Can the warm weather come back now please?? 🌞 wait, wasn't I just moaning the other day about how it was too hot to do workouts? 😅 . Taking a break from @Shreddy workouts this week as I've really been struggling with my knee! It feels so unstable and is painful so I think my extra walks have unfortunately pushed it a bit too far! So my plan is to rest a bit more, and then next week carry on with the Shreddy workouts and slowly build up walking, but not every day 😔 at least not for now! . If your body tells you to rest, take a break or slow down, listen!
