I recently changed up my training style solely to focus on putting on size and strength, and the outcome has been unreal. - - Always confusing your muscles is key. Constantly changing up training styles, set ranges, coming out of your comfort zone to try new workouts, will always keep your body guessing and work to grow in any area you’re lacking. - - Being so tall with loonngg skinny legs, my lower body has always been a weakness of mine. I’ve split my leg days into 2 days a week: one focused on quad building and one focused on hamstrings. - - I push each set to failure. Meaning I push my sets until exhaustion and I can’t do another rep. I strongly believe in “over-training” for overall strength training, as long as your nutrition is on point; you’ll need to exceed your daily caloric needs if you want to gain lean body mass. - - According to research, it is recommended to consume approximately 15% more calories per day than what is required to maintain your body weight. Today has been a funny day, not in the hillarious fart & follow through kind of way. My asthma decided to spazz out (must be telling me something) & I've had the joy of being masked up. I had to cancel & rejig some clients but that new space came in handy. Somehow beimg wheezy gave me some well needed clarity & got past a creative block that's beem getting on my tits. Not working out the last couple days has been frustrating. I woke up and could barely move my head or neck. I’m not sure if I slept wrong or just have a pinched nerve but it sucks. It makes caring for Olivia hard but I’m managing. What’s more disappointing is I feel like my motivation took a huge nose dive! TRIATHLON TRAINING . . Reprise du renforcement musculaire de manière sérieuse ! 🏋🏻‍♀️Avant de me lancer dans l’aventure du triathlon il y a un peu plus d’un an j’étais accro à la musculation et je faisais environ 3-4 séances par semaine ! Puis avec le début des trainings dans chacune des disciplines je n’ai plus vraiment eu le temps de continuer la musculation (une journée ne dure malheureusement que 24h 😅). . . Mais il est important que nos petits muscles soient suffisamment forts pour tenir toutes les bornes qu’on leur fait endurer ! L’objectif n’étant évidemment pas de faire de la gonflette mais de bien se muscler en profondeur 👊🏻 alors je privilégie les nombreuses répétitions avec des poids un peu plus léger. . Au programme aujourd’hui : . ▪️15min d’échauffement sur un vélo (le biclou n’est jamais loin 😅 #accroauvelo ) ▪️30min bas du corps (presse, fentes, ...) . ▪️15min abdos . ▪️10 min étirements . ▪️Puis ensuite j’ai filé courir 🏃🏻‍♀️ 5km avec une super copine bien motivée !👯‍♀️ . . Une journée bien remplie ! Starting off my page with my all time favorite breakfast recipe🤩🤩 Chocolate Pumpkin Protein Waffles🧡🧡 I swear I can’t go a day without them it’s a must make!!! Ingredients: Chocolate protein powder - I have Wheybolic Ripped by GNC and so far it is my favorite that I have tried I totally recommend (ONLY 110 calories a serving, 1g fat, 0g saturated fat, 4g carbs, 1g sugars, and 20g protein!! Here are what the Macros look for a keto diet. 🚨I really think its important to be very up front with this and just put a stop to one thing before anyone thinks or stresses it... Change is hard BUT no one said it couldn’t be fun and rewarding BUT YOU SHOULDN’T GO HUNGRY!! OK!? Ahhhh that ease your mind?!! Great does mine too 🙂 Also you may find that these specific macro numbers may not work best for you and you can alter them to fit your needs and goals. I personally attempt to stick to these numbers daily and have found that there is plenty to eat EVERY where I go 🙂 I am a VERY picky eater and I have to work on this daily. LOL I keep trying things like peppers hoping soon I will learn to love them! ***Before I started my Keto diet I ate sooooo bad yall!! I only drank pepsi’s and mostly ate things like pizza, breads, pastas, and Cheese-Its... you know a simple and very debilitating diet. I was ALWAYS SUPER tired, hungry, and only had short burst of energy every once in awhile. There was a point where shaving my legs was exhausting. I had ALOT Of pain and inflammation! 🌈 NOW I have a reduction of inflammation, 18 pounds of fat-loss ( about 5 inch loss in my waist!), healthier skin, nails, & hair, LOADS more energy, over all better mood, increasing self esteem, a strong desire to workout for more improvements, and a VERY strong desire to TAKE THOSE WILLING WITH ME bahahahahaha!
