Winna winna chicken dinner😎 Spinach, mozzarella, and cream cheese stuffed chicken breasts with a side of roasted sweet potatoes + steamed broccoli florets. Made this lovely dinner for the fam the other night and they LOVED it!! Those roasted sweet potatoes tho😭😋 DEETZ👇🏻 Here’s the recipe I used for the chicken (it’s keto!!) —> https://thatlowcarblife.com/spinach-stuffed-chicken-2/ Steamed broccoli Roasted sweet potatoes- drizzled in olive oil and sprinkled with salt, pepper, chili powder, and cinnamon. Put those guys in the oven at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes and enjoy! I thought I would share my lunch with you today. Honestly, not just what I’m eating but a “vague” price amount, too. 😬 I said “vague” for a couple of reasons... 1. Since I don’t count calories/macros, I don’t portion my food. However, I do have a good idea how long each item lasts; so I just divided the amount. i.e. 1 bunch of organic kale = .99 cents = usually get 3 meals from it. .99 divided by 3 = .33 cents/serving. Also, prices vary by region and stores, obviously... 😬 2. My salad changes from day to day. I will be giving you the base salad ingredients. What I’m not including is the amount that I spend on olive oil, spices, or apple cider vinegar. Another thing is that if I have any leftover chicken, I will throw that into my salad (like I did today). If I don’t have any leftovers, I just eat the base ingredients. Also, you may notice some candied pecans. I’m not including that; because, it was gift. If I didn’t have them, I wouldn’t have added it. ✨ Kale .33, carrots .05, zucchini .17, sweet potatoes .33, chickpeas .12, lemons .22, apples .50 = 1.72/salad Sometimes, I add a handful of organic spinach which would bring it up another .50/salad I think. Note: I roasted chickpeas & sweet potatoes yesterday. Today, I massaged the kale (which is so important). I also prepped the zucchini and carrots. Then I sautéed the zucchini, carrots, chicken, sweet potatoes in a little water & various spices. Ready for some honesty time? I’m a small chested person. I used to wear a push-up bra because I felt that the extra padding made my stomach look smaller, like my stomach was more proportionate with a bigger chest. I didn’t like it, but I felt like it would minimize the appearance of my growing middle. I was constantly uncomfortable, constantly re-adjusting my clothes, crossing my arms over my stomach. I was uncomfortable with how I looked, and physically uncomfortable. The food I ate didn’t make me feel good, and I was eating too much of it. But I got tired of being uncomfortable. . . I’m still learning to eat better, but I’ve come so far. SO. FAR. I’m not over eating constantly (although I still find it hard to honor my fullness in the presence of a baked good 😍) - I eat what I need, and definitely not straight from the container! I exercise. And lastly, I mostly just wear sports bras now. What I ate on my 11hr ✈️ from AMS -> LAX. First meal: 1. Mixed nuts and a French red wine, 2. sweet potato curry soup with a side salad and dinner roll, 3. traditional Dutch style veal stew, 4. citrus mousse, 5. milk chocolate. Second meal: Burger with a side of mixed veggies. You won’t go hungry on this flight! There are also snacks and plenty of drinks to pick from 😋. Overall good trip to 3 cities in Europe! I only had a gym on one of my hotels but I made sure to get my steps in everyday. I also indulged on the local cuisine and managed not to gain any weight! What helped me the most was watching my portions, drinking water (instead of drinking high calorie drinks) and doing lots of walking! at KLM Crown Lounge

Its wild to me to think that this time last year I was following Lily on Instagram, having never met, and just passively watching her fitness journey. ✨ Fast Forward to April of that year and I signed up as a coach with her. ✨ And I’ll be honest… it was for some extra money. ✨ I didn’t understand the impact it would have on my health and fitness. I’ve lost 20 lbs since then. I can see muscle definition (when I flex 😉) And I plan out and meal prep 90% of my meals. ✨ But the biggest thing I wasn’t expecting. The amazing ladies I would meet on this journey. 👯‍♀️I never would have imagined coming on a trip like this one. ✨ 4 days of training, working out, and just bonding with my ladies! So is that the added bonus to being a health and fitness coach? No. 👯‍♀️ It’s the PEOPLE that make coaching worth it. Not the weightloss and not the money. I will be forever thankful for the people this opportunity brought into my life. at Beach

Today I actually wanted a salad (this was a very small “snack” salad). If you told me this time last year that I would be eating a salad, much less spinach and tomatoes, I would’ve laughed. I tried spinach multiple times growing up and hated it. Turns out I just hadn’t found the best way (at least for me) to eat it! Cooked spinach will probably never be found on my plate. But this? This is good 😋I am *100%* the world’s pickiest eater. Ask anyone. It’s mainly a texture problem for me. I despise veggies. DESPISE. But, I wish I didn’t. Especially for health benefits! So this year, one of my goals is to eat more veggies. This will definitely be trial and error. I’m excited to see what will be in my kitchen by the end of this year! I just want you to know - if I can do it, you can do it too. Determine why you don’t like someone or why you think you won’t like it, and see how you might could transform that. Give everything at least a few tries before dismissing it. The Chin Up is the King of Upper Body movements - With that being said, why is it that Trainees and especially Coaches are performing/teaching them incorrectly? - The Proper Chin Up requires highest degree of Range of Motion to build strength and mass without the shortening of the shoulder girdle - When performed incorrectly with a shortened Range of Motion, this will lead to injuries of the Neck, Shoulder and Elbows as well as no increase in strength and mass - How to Achieve the Proper Chin Up - Video 1: Start the Chin Up with fully extended elbows in a dead hang position. Initiate the movement with the Scapular depression which will activate the Lats properly. This will ensure optimal strength to pull yourself up. At the top, the front of your shoulders should touch the bar - Video #2: On the way down you should control the movement for a prescribed tempo (depending on your goals.) I have new followers lately & just wanted to introduce myself! ✨ Hi!! 👋 my name is Samantha & I live in the (Currently) COLD state of Maine 😂 I am married to my amazingly supportive husband of 13 years! We have 3 handsome boys that are ages 11.5, 8 & 2.5 and you'll see them on here from time to time. We have a 4.5 year old rescue dog named, Molly and in the beginning of December we adopted another rescue puppy named, Zero that is now 11 months old and I'm obsessed with them haha. I'm a huge huge dog lover & would rescue many more dogs if I could! 🐶 ✨ I had a lot of health issues going on for awhile and was finally diagnosed with Celiacs 9 months ago and it's been quite the adjustment... Becuase I just loveall the gluten 😭😂😂 My health is much better now that I've got my new lifestyle figured out. I have been on a health & fitness journey for 2.5 years now & never looked back! Through my teens & twenties I was a binge eater & it took years to learn how to stop. I had a major food problem & still do (I think about food 24/7) but never knew how to get control of it. After I had my youngest son, I didn't want to keep yo-yo dieting anymore & wanted to make a new healthy lifestyle for myself. No quick fixes. I started following amazing at home workout programs to get in shape & feel good. They came with nutrition guides & meals plans that helped me a lot in my journey. There was no diet pills, no wraps, no starving myself, no ridiculous stuff.. just hard work of showing up daily, getting my workouts in and eat a balanced healthy clean diet. Treats in moderation & I never restricted myself because it often lead to binging. I just had to learn moderation and balance. 👌 ✨ You'll see me share often that I run monthly challenge groups/boot camps where we all support one another & keep each other accountable doing our "on demand streaming" home workout programs and meal plans. I’ll never own that many oils. How does that even happen? I said those words myself. I didn’t understand it. I didn’t get how people had SO many of these little bottles. Surely they were crazy, right? But then I needed something. I needed a company I could trust with products that didn’t give my family cancer, or breathing problems, or lead to infertility. I needed something to turn to when we had ailments and issues. So I bought a kit of oils. I wanted to ditch my candles and it seemed like a good option. I purged my house of wall plug ins, candles, and sprays. I wanted something to help us sleep, help us deal with the emotions from my Mom’s cancer diagnosis, and all of the other things that come along in life. Oh how I wish I would have caught on to these when I was a foster mom. We don’t have shelves of oils in our kitchen because I “sell oils”. We have shelves of oils in our kitchen and oils scattered throughout our home because they work for my family. We tried them and they worked. They made a positive, significant impact on my family. They make SUCH a difference for my family that I now share that with other people. I WANT that for the people I care about. Why else would I live it myself? If it didn’t work, why would I suggest it to people I love? If they didn’t work I definitely wouldn’t have multiple shelves dedicated to them. What difference could they make to you? In your home? In your family’s life? I love it. I love sharing everything I’m learning as I go. I love when people get excited to switch out products in their homes and text me that an oil worked for their family. It’s just the best 🖤

Recently you asked me how often I eat nut butter. I’m realizing I eat it a handful of times during the week. I usually have a peanut butter sandwich once a week. But I have 2Tbls of some form of nut butter, peanut, almond or cashew a couple time a week for my morning snack served with 5oz of an apple or banana. It’s a great way to nurture my body with a protein and a fruit!

This has been my favorite diffuser blend for bed time lately. I get really stuffy when I lay down in the winter time. The house is closed up for months on end and the dusk can really get to me. I just absolutely cannot wait for spring! Thankfully though, Breathe helps to promote easy breathing😊 It is also one of those oils that helps to chill out your emotions. The food industry does some pretty intense things for food. In the case of vegan farms they're obligated to keep the land clean of critters of all sorts and any creature that could contaminate the food rendering it non-vegan. To avoid this farmers take part in a pretty brutal slaughter of all non plant life taking place on the land where the food is grown. This is a solution implemented to maintain vegan integrity. Thus the loss of life on the end of vegans is greater than in any other market for food. More creatures die to feed a vegan than do to feed McDonalds customers.
