Good afternoon everyoneeee,I’m putting my two food posts into one cos once again I’m too lazy to make more posts but anyway, my morning was pretty hectic today so I didn’t have time to make anything so I just took some veggies + hummus and apples + pb with me on the go. For dinner I tried to not be as lazy and instead of ordering smth from my usual vegan places I made some veggie-tofu-bean-teriyaki rice with sriracha in top and broccoli, cucumbers n bell peppers on the side. My food posts are getting less and less insta worthy rip but oh well I’ll keep posting anyway. It dawned on me the other day that I achieved one of my biggest goals- I never once leaked or peed myself during my pregnancy! And I have not yet leaked or peed myself after! But that doesn’t mean I’m in the clear. It took me a bit to start working on my pelvic floor/core restoration. Being a new mom and doing something for myself that took 5min felt like too much! But a few weeks out & im finally starting to work on it. Not for ‘weight loss’ but for healing my body and preventing injuries when the day I do start working out. If you’ve been following me then you’ll know that I’ve been doing the @expectingandempowered guides & right now they’ve started another 10wk challenge, and I’m joining! Just writing down what I did that day makes me feel SO accomplished! ‘What about those people that eat loads and never seem to put on any weight?’ What you see is an imbalanced snapshot of their day. They might only be having that one large meal that you see. You might not see or remember them running or cycling to work, you may not have noticed then taking the stairs when everyone else is taking the lift. This huge meal that your fixated with them eating could be much in volume but made up of things like fruits or vegetables which is low in calories. Step out of your familiar dinner foods and eat something new. . Look in your fridge and pantry and use your familiar foods but prepare them in a different fashion, use those spices and seasonings that are hiding in the back of your cabinet, combine textures you wouldn't normally think of. . Get funky. Get fresh. . I had a box of falafel mix, can of chickpeas, veggies and some sour cream. I wasn't so sure what the game initially was but I started pulling things out and one thing lead to another. . I roasted my chickpeas in turmeric, ginger, lime juice and olive oil. Made my falafels and placed them on a bed of greens. Cut up my veggies. Found a jar of pepperocinis in the fridge and threw those bad boys in the bowl. Took my fat free sour cream and added lime juice, dill, parsley and garlic powder. . And voilà, a dank meal appeared. . I haven’t always had such an understanding of how critical sleep is to your health and well-being. It’s hard to overstate just how important sleep is for a person’s overall wellbeing, but many of us do not get the rest we need. • I had terrible sleeping habits for 8 years of my life; working in nightclubs in my late teens, then as a stockbroker for 4 years – which meant entertaining client’s multiple times a week, whilst making it into work by 7 am every day. Like so many, I used to commute to get to the office, and would often only get 2 – 3 hours sleep before my 5 AM alarm rang. • I always intended to make up for lost time over the weekends, but of course, I would invariably be out partying all weekend. After a few years of this I started to feel terrible; slowly but surely I stopped going out so much and got back into a healthy lifestyle. • I now understand that sleep is THE most important factor in our health and well-being, even before diet and exercise. People think they can cheat sleep. Well, the world has clearly gone insane, because I'm doing a #transformationtuesday post on a Thursday. 😜 So I've previously shared how after I moved to Nashville in Jan of 2018, I got really happy and packed on some pounds. I never stopped working out....I just stopped paying attention to how I was fueling my body. In November of 2018, I decided that I'd had enough and that it was time to shed a few pounds. I also knew that I wanted to work on some type of nutrition certification so I could learn more about the science behind the fuel. I found the #2Bmindset program and began applying the principles I was learning. The pics on the left are from 11/17/18. The pics on the right are from 1/17/19 - - exactly 2 months apart, and I'm standing relaxed (not flexing). I went from 170 to 160 (I'm also 6' tall, so keep that in mind). I know that may not seem like a lot in two months time, but keep in mind that I did this over the holidays. I didn't change my exercise routine, I didn't count calories, and I didn't weigh or measure my food. I just used the simple, sustainable principles of the program, and I gradually dropped the weight. You can definitely see a difference in my thighs, which is where I tend to carry weight, and there is less of a bloat in my belly area. I'm still not back to where I want to be, but I will get there, slowly and steadily. Nutrition really is the key, folks. It makes a huge difference. Sara found Stott Pilates, like so many people do, through injury. Having tried several other therapies to alleviate her knee pain, she heard success stories regarding Pilates and wanted to try everything she could before seeking surgery. It was within just a few weeks that her knee pain began to subside and she was able to walk pain free and began jogging again. Having lived so long with pain and finally learning the biomechanics of the human body and functional movement through Pilates, she wanted to learn and share as much as she could to help others live pain free. She dove into every Stott Pilates course she could take and is currently working on her full certification. Through Pilates, Sara was able to run four marathons and her first ultra marathon pain free in 2018. She loves to help others live pain free by looking at the body as a whole in order to help them with proper body alignment and functional movement so they can enjoy actives within their lives!

Seohyun has such an amazing body, I did research what she does to get it and it’s wonderful to hear that she eats very healthy, cooks every meal, cuts out premade meals, doesn’t do quick & easy diets and does exercises often. I’ve mentioned on here before that for the past few weeks I’ve been working with @thefityogitrainer and have noticed considerable progress in my strength and flexibility. Each day I actually look forward to the 20 minute workouts that kick my ass followed by the creative yoga flows where I get to play and learn new poses 😊 . This particular move 👆🏼 is an absolute killer for the core ☠️ They’re called plow pose toe slides and the help with core compression which is essential for so many exercises (handstand, crowpose, pincha). The idea is to knit your ribs to your quads as you slide your toes down your arms for as long as you can, keeping contact the whole time. It’s fu**ing hard people! . But all moves you see can be made basic until you feel ready to move onto the next stage! - Sometimes it can be intimidating and nerve wracking trying new things at the gym! What is someone is watching me? What if I’m doing it wrong? What if I look stupid? Well trust me you don’t! - What do I believe to be the ultimate booty builder? Hip thrusts of course 😨🔥But let’s start off with simplifying the hip thrust, building the confidence into the single leg hip thrust by the end 🙌💃 - So first of all we’re going to start with the basic glute bridge. Everyone should be able to do this one! Feet far enough from the body but not too much, you want to feel that booty engaged and so important you push from the heels and squeeze with them glutes! May not look pretty but if you wanna see gains got to be done! - Then we’re going to move onto the hip thrust using a bench or box. Once you have got this move then you can start adding some weights! - Next we’re going to practice the single leg glute bridge, so same as before but lifting one leg!
