BROWNIES DE BANANO Y CACAO🍌🍫 Ahora nadie me detiene de preparar brownies, desde los últimos que hice me han quedado muy bien eso significa sigamos😍. Estos quedaron muy deliciosos, fluffys, el sabor, olor, textura mejor dicho todo. 🤤 _____________ Ingredientes: 🍫1/2 taza de harina de avena 🍫1/2 taza de harina de coco (pueden usar otra o agregar mas avena) 🍫 1 huevo 🍫 2 bananos maduros 🍫 1/4 de panela molida (pueden usar el endulzante que quieran) 🍫 1/4 taza de cacao en polvo. Use @lok_foods 🍫1/2 cdta de bicarbonato + 1/2 de polvo (Opcional) Para decorar: Cacao/chocolate derretido 100%. Use @lok_foods (o el que quieran) ____________ 👩🏻‍🍳Preparación: Precalentamos el horno a 180c. 1. Se mezclan los ingredientes húmedos en un bowl + los ingredientes secos en otro bowl 2. Juntan ambas mezclas muy bien, luego la llevan a una refractaria/molde apto para horno previamente engrasado y la hornean por 25-30 minutos aprox (tienen que estar pendientes, todos los hornos son diferentes) 3. La retiran del horno, esperan unos minutos y la decoran por encima con el chocolate derretido ➡Listo!!! La pueden comer de snack, postre, acompañar de alguna fruta (me encanta con fresa + un poco de yogurt griego) 😋❤

After a long and a bit stressful week at school I needed an easy night. Being at home all day can stress me out but once it’s night time, I turn into a complete home body and I just want to curl up in my bed with Netflix and snacks (like lots of them 😏) Tonight’s victim of choice? DAIRY FREE HALO TOP! I tried dairy free @halotopcreamery a while ago and was not impressed. It had a very coconuty taste and the other flavors well, they fell short, but I decided to try it again but with a chocolate base instead of vanilla and let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made all week 😜 Topped it with Almond Milk Whipped Topping and powdered peanut butter mixed with cocoa powder and not to repeat myself but dayyyummm it was so good 💯🙏🏻👅

The Push Up. When preformed correctly is a chest exercise. A lot of my clients when they start out push through using the anterior deltoids (shoulders) this is incorrect. Start by having your hands underneath your shoulders, your feet close together, hips high so that you start in a plank position and bend your elbows backwards, ensuring that your chin isn’t sticking out and that you are looking straight ahead. Leg Extensions 〰️ Leg extensions are a great exercise to add to your training (pre or postpartum) as they help strengthen your inner thighs and increase your knee stability. The Pilates ball is a great way to add enough resistance to make the exercise more challenging, without putting stress on your joints and core (since it’s weightless). The aim is to squeeze it in between your thighs as you perform the movement (if you don’t have a Pilates ball, just use a pillow or a folded towel instead). Ensure that you maintain an upright posture throughout, keeping your pelvis neutral and aligned with your hips. You can add it to your lower body training, doing 3x10 reps /leg and increasing by 2 reps each time you repeat it. As always, ensure you perform core breath when you do this (explained on my stories highlights). • Extensão de Perna 〰️ Extensões de perna são um óptimo exercício para incorporar nos seus treinos de pernas tanto no pre como no pós-parto, uma vez que ajudam a fortalecer a parte inferior das coxas e a aumentar a estabilidade dos joelhos. Aren’t snack plates just the best?! 😄 I love sweet & savory combos! Here’s what I’m munchin on: • @nstomatoes sunburst sweet snacking tomatoes • organic cage free soft boiled egg • grapefruit • one of my delish protein oatmeal cookies 😋 . . Protein Oatmeal Cookie Recipe: Preheat oven to 250 In bowl, mix all ingredients well: • 1 large ripe 🍌 • 1/3c @chosenfoods chia seeds • 1c bobsredmill GF rolled oats • 1/3c @bobsredmill flaxseeds • @LifeVantage physIQ vanilla protein powder (ask me for more info or click on link in my bio to purchase) • 1 🥚 • 1/3c almond milk • a handful of crushed up Brazil nuts (people w/ Hashimoto’s should eat Brazil nuts for their selenium ! Plus they’re delicious, & add a great crunch!) • 2T 🍯 Next place on greased cookie sheet & bake for 20 min or desired baked-ness (is that a word?! 😆) ENJOY! EVERYONE who has tried these have no idea how healthy they really are & love them!! 😄

my last week's craving fixin...until I ran out:’( {Mediterranean veggie burger on a bulkie roll w avocado and spinach along with some minestrone soup🍜} •• But it’s all good I've had yummy foods since like pizza x2 Tuesday and Wednesday at my boyfriends. Then yesterday was spent with my dad eating some tortilla chips, bbq chicken, and garlic bread🥖😋 Then seeing The Darkest minds in theater🎬 Today had been just me and my nanas cat, trying to keep my head up, but I am currently sitting outside after walking to mail, because something about sitting in nature is so relaxing and uplifting! Give it a try for some self-nature therapy🌼🌻

Most of my post ideas 💡 pop up in my head in the middle of the night. For example the other day I was about to go to sleep 😴 when I suddenly asked myself “Is there a nutritional difference between red and green apples?” (random I know). Well, here’s the answer! . . If antioxidants are your focus, red apples are a better option. On the other hand, green apples are slightly higher in fiber and lower in sugar. Keep in mind that one isn’t healthier than the other, in fact the nutritional difference is very small! . . . In conclusion, whichever you eat will be beneficial for your health! Now, when it comes to preference I’m team green all the way (love the tartness). This past month I’ve been meditating on the mantra “less is more”. Since moving home from grad school I’ve purged 5 huge bags of clothes to Goodwill and trashed close to 30 empty shoeboxes!! I not only was able to declutter the physical “stuff” but also have been aware of the chaos going on in my mind, “What are the next steps after grad school?”, “Should i start applying for jobs?”, “When will i pass my exam?”, “Will i have enough money to live on my own?” HOW OVERWHELMING. I was driven by anxiety and frustration. After my trip to northern Cali, i finally was able to catch my breath and make a plan in order to settle and eradicate my fears. Whenever you feel like you’re suffocating, take yourself out of the situation and go for a hike, walk, the beach or outside in order to declutter the uncertainty that makes you question your self worth.
