Love this so much! . IT’S OK TO NOT BE PERFECT. I think my fear of making mistakes is the biggest thing holding me back. I need to read this daily. Print it and put it as my journal cover. It’s ok to mess, up, it’s what you do next that matters. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I’ll never forget in one of my very 1st coach trainings the instructor said, “you will suck at first, everyone does when they first begin something new.” I look up to a couple coaches that I consider very successful based on their values and how they run their coaching business and even went as far as asking one and sure enough she said yep, “I was terrible at it but I didn’t stop because it was my passion.” That set me on fire to learn, research and do way more training than necessary. I don’t like not being great at every piece of what I do. Writing these captions is hard for me, not my strength. I have a lot to want to say each day because helping others is my passion, however I suck at typing it out into a caption. I want to have a one on one call with you all and just chat about life and how you’re taking care of yourself. since that isn’t feasible I will just continue writing these long a$$ posts and strive to get better each day and live my life according to my values and goals, even if it means making mistakes, and not being good at every aspect of my amazing job that I feel blessed to have. I know I’ll be better at the end of 2019 than I was at the beginning, if I just keep working at it and learning. 💁🏼‍♀️I’m ALWAYS learning. Tahan 10 detik lalu ulangi 5-10 kali. Jika melakukannya dengan teknik yang tepat, akan terasa peregangan pada otot leher sisi kiri. Lakukan teknik serupa untuk arah sebaliknya ⠀ 2. • H2O • We were at dinner the other night and Jay noticed I was chugging an entire glass of water and told me not to drown 😐. For me drinking a lot of water is pretty easy because I don’t like soda or many juices. I know this isn’t the case for everyone so here’s some tips: +Keep a LARGE water bottle on your desk every day +Set a timer on your watch, desktop or phone to remind you to hydrate +Flavor water with fresh fruit (or @sakaralife beauty drops!) +Room temp water is easier to drink and easier for your body +Adding Himalayan sea salt and some fresh lemon to your water first thing in the morning gets your metabolism going +You need a lot more water when your training - be sure to increase your water intake after a tough workout. Definitely not the prettiest picture but this is what my mornings usually look like. Eating a messy breakfast that I prepared the night before half asleep, in my car sitting at the train station before I hop on the train for work. This time is usually around 7 am, I already started my day at 530am. By 6am I’m at the gym warming up for my 50 min HIT/Weights workout that I make up as I go but have an idea in mind of what body parts I want to do before I get there, today was legs and butt🍑(my fav day). After my workout I shower at my gym and semi get ready and am out the door by 710 latest so I can catch my 727 train. Get to the city around 825 and then I walk a mile to my office and start my 9-6pm workday. Andddd do it all over again the next day💪🏼 • Talk about time management and exhausting right😅 but I love it and made my own little routine that I stick to so it’s all good ova here! Anyone can do it but you just have to put that little extra effort in to fit in what you love and prioritize in your days, because if you don’t no one else will right?? You have to do what makes you happy and find any way you can and once you do you will be glad ya did and it will make all the difference. It can be done, sometimes just have to force yourself to take those steps!🌟 • Some little Friday motivation for ya if you’re still reading this💋 hope everyone has a great day🌞 #sofitsohealthyy at Massapequa, New York

Health Tip Friday: Pick just 1 meal to remove added sugar. Why? Consuming added sugar can contribute or lead to blood sugar spikes, which can increase: - Insulin resistance - Weight gain - Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease - Inflammation Even if you’re swearing off desserts for a while, sugar can find its way into everyday food items like flavored coconut waters, yogurt, salsa, and energy bars. _ How to go further: Pick a week coming up to journal your meals, drinks, and snacks while reading labels, as a way of observing how much sugar you’re consuming and when throughout the day. Once you have an overview of your eating habits, you can pick areas to reduce, one at a time. _ For reference, the 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend that “added sugars make up no more than 10 percent of your daily calories. For a 2,000-calorie diet, that means no more than 200 calories a day should come from added sugars. The American Heart Association advises a stricter limit for added sugars — no more than 100 calories a day for most women and no more than 150 calories a day for most men. That’s about 6 teaspoons of sugar for women and 9 for men. One teaspoon of sugar has about 16 calories. To put this into perspective, a 12-ounce can of regular soda has about 160 calories, or about 10 teaspoons, of sugar. Berbagai macam alat elektronik mulai dari komputer, telepon genggam, tablet sampai televisi memiliki paparan sinar radiasi yang cukup tinggi, radiasi ini dapat mengganggu kesehatan mata jika mata kita terpapar dalam rentan waktu yang lama. Salah satu kondisi yang disebabkan oleh paparan radiasi alat elektronik ialah Computer Vision Syndrom (CVS). Awalnya kondisi ini lebih banyak menyerang pada orang dewasa yang memang dituntut untuk bekerja depan komputer, namun hal ini mulai bergeser menjadi anak-anak yang banyak menderita CVS. CVS diantaranya terjadi karena kondisi kelelahan otot mata yang diakibatkan mata terpapar radiasi alat elektronik dan terlalu lamanya otot mata bekerja untuk memfokuskan suatu objek didepan alat elektronik. Gejala yang mungkin ditimbulkan ialah mata kering dan merah, lebih sering berkedip, terkadang menimbulkan rasa perih pada mata, kelopak mata dan dahi terasa berat, pandangan kabur serta lamban fokus. Jika kondisi ini terus berlangsung lama dikhawatirkan akan terjadi gangguan pada fungsi penglihatan anak seperti mata menjadi rabun dekat, penglihatan kabur dan berbayang (mata silinder), dan mata kering. Kerusakan saraf di betis dan kaki bisa membuat Kamu kesulitan merasakan ketika menginjak pedal mobil. Diabetes juga bisa mengganggu penglihatan dengan merusak pembuluh darah di dalam mata Kamu. Penyakit tersebut juga bisa menimbulkan penyakit katarak. Kalau Kamu menderita diabetes, agar tetap aman saat menyetir, lakukan beberapa persiapan ini : -  Cek gula darah: Sebelum menyetir, pastikan tingkat gula darah Kamu sekurang-kurangnya 80 mg/dL. Kalau ternyata hasil tes menunjukkan gula darah Kamu kurang dari batas tersebut, konsumsi makanan kecil yang mengandung 15 gram karbohidrat. Tunggu sekitar 15 menit, lalu lakukan pengecekan lagi. -  Bawa makanan kecil: Taruhlah beberapa makanan kecil yang mengandung karbohidrat sebagai persiapan jika gula darah Kamu mulai menurun lebih dari batas normal. Kamu bisa mengonsumsi tablet glukosa, soda biasa (bukan diet soda), dan beberapa jus buah, atau makanan kecil lainnya. Pastikan makanan dan minuman tersebut tahan lama dan aman untuk disimpan di mobil. -  Bawa alat pengukur gula darah: Ketika sedang menyetir, terutama pada perjalanan panjang, Kamu harus mengecek kadar gula darah selama beberapa kali. Namun, jangan tinggalkan alat pengukur gula darah di dalam mobil jika Kamu sedang tidak menyetir. Suhu panas atau dingin yang ekstrem bisa merusak alat tersebut. -  Rutin memeriksa mata: Lakukan pengecekan mata secara rutin untuk memastikan diabetes tidak merusak penglihatan Kamu. On the way back from Hidimba Devi temple, manali, we spotted this cute little restaurant at a corner just at the entrance of the manali market. Located in the heart of the mall, this is one establishment that one has to include in ones itinerary. A must visit place that is absolute value for money. It was a place that we needed! After munching down all the homely food a dineout was a must.
