Turmeric Fish Pasta. Cook the pasta according to the package instruction. Meanwhile, saute some chopped onion then add chopped tomatoes and green beans. Cook until green beans is almost cooked through. Then add sliced fish. I used tilapia for this recipe but you can add any protein that you like. If you're vegan, you can substitute with tofu or tempeh. Seasoned with turmeric powder, black pepper, cumin powder, pink himalayan salt, soy sauce, chili powder, tomato paste, mushroom stock, and water. Show the world all your fears; the things that hold you back, until it can’t stop you anymore — Like many girls, I’ve been through extreme dieting, intense workouts, and ultimately achieved my “goal body” Was I healthy? Absolutely not. My health and hormones suffered tremendously even though I may have “looked healthy” Now that I’m at a sustainable body, I find myself feeling insecure and yearning to be “lean” again. This is MY vulnerability - the fact that these shallow thoughts still haunt me. I am putting it out there to show I’m human and I no longer want it to hold me back from loving my body — This is my body now - no restrictions, no overeating, no under-eating, no overexercising, just enjoying WHOLE foods, occasional treats, and life — Stop trying to diet because you think society needs you to look a certain way. I was debating for a LONGG time before posting this because to be honest, I’m embarrassed 😔 but it’s okay to be vulnerable - face your fears until it won’t hold you back💖 — This post is inspired by an incredible conversation my brother @feefee_chan had with the one n only @garyvee yesterday (YES, it happened!!) Comparison is an awful game to play. . But one I’ve been playing quite often lately. . She looks so good and she just had a baby. She eats like crap and is still skinnier than me. She looks so happy all the time, how is her life so perfect? She is literally perfect I bet no one judges her when they see her. I wish I could do that, but I can’t. . All of these opinions of the picture perfect girl on Instagram who seems to have her life totally together, but I don’t even know her! . And that’s because for the most part, everyone posts their highlight reel. . The perfectly posed picture that looks like a candid but was really photo #12698 of trying to get the best shot! . The perfectly laid out meal that probably doesn’t look the same on her husband’s plate. . Stop comparing your life to other people’s highlights. You’ll lose every time. And for what? To throw yourself a pity party? . You can have everything they have and more if you take the action to achieve the things you want in life! But it starts with YOU! Not them. . One Pan Thanksgiving Side Dish! So easy and healthy! Ingredients: 2 cups sliced brussle sprouts, 3 cups sliced mini tri-colored potatoes, 3 diced large garlic cloves, 3 tbs olive oil, 2 tbs rosemary, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, 1/2 tsp salt. Directions: Preheat oven tp 425 degrees. On a large baking sheet, place parchment paper down. In a large gallon size bag, put potatoes, 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil, diced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of Rosemary. Mixed sliced potatoes around until thoroughly covered. Pour potatoes on half of the baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes. Then, take out baking sheet and add sliced brussels sprouts on baking sheet. Drizzle 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil making sure everything is thoroughly covered. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of Rosemary as well as the Parmesan cheese over the brussels sprouts. Lastly, sprinkled salt over entire baking sheet. Bake for another 20 to 25 minutes, until potatoes are tender and brussels sprouts are crisp. Take baking dish out and put all the veggies in a large serving bowl. Serve for a healthy thanksgiving side dish! Being physically active during the day can help you fall asleep more easily at night. Getting enough sleep is important, but good sleep quality is also essential. Signs of poor sleep quality include feeling sleepy or tired even after getting 7 - 8 hours, repeatedly waking up during the night, and having symptoms of sleep disorders (such as snoring or gasping for air). Sometimes you find a gem where you least expect it. This was my reflection when I was coaching someone the other day. I was at a loss. I couldn’t make what happened to them go away. I couldn’t erase the hurt, or the pain. All I could do was empathize. But in trying to make sense of what happened to them, I uttered the words, ‘What’s the alternative?” . For some reason these words stuck with me. For some reason these words seemed to unlock a world of common sense that was sitting there the whole time. . What’s the alternative to being positive? Being negative? What’s the alternative to being grateful? Constantly wishing you had more? What’s the alternative to living every day with purpose? Wasting your days away until you die? . The truth is, there isn’t a better alternative to happiness. This needs to sink in. There isn’t a better alternative. I can’t guarantee that life will get (objectively) better if you live with positivity. But I can guarantee that life will get worse if you have a negative perspective. There’s the rub. The alternative is always negative. Always. . We get mired in this belief that being negative, or feeling sorry for ourselves, or seeking sympathy, will somehow provide a positive outcome. It won’t. It will eventually drive away the people you love. Instead of being in control of your life, you become a victim. . I don’t write this from a pulpit. I’m just as guilty, if not more guilty of dwelling on the negative. I’ve just accepted the fact that there is no alternative, and for that, I am more enlightened than I was yesterday. . “Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.” – Eckhart Tolle

I would say a lot but I would also make sure to give her some grace 🦋cause she had no clue how to deal. Taking diet pills, drinking 🍷 or eating to hide her feelings or numb anxiety, that’s what she did!. • That girl on the left always had to do those things to feel confident, now she workouts. Now she fills her mind & body with healthy stuff. I used to think I had to please everyone and be a “certain way” ... now this over 40 momma says if you don’t like me you are welcome to just continue scrolling!!. • I much prefer that smiley goofy healthy girl on the right who workouts to release anxiety, has a genuine smile & zest for life and continues to make small acts of self-love to just work on improving herself and wants to inspire others!. • Change is hard and yes it takes time but damnit you are worth it! 💕 I was worth it but didn’t know, but thank GOD I listened to those little nudges that got me this girl on the right! 30 min easy healthy weeknight dinner alert! 🚨 SO filling and satisfying. Great cold weather comfort food. Okay here it is! I didn’t plan this recipe just threw it together. 1 lb lean ground turkey 1 pack microwave pouch brown rice (or 2 cups stovetop cooked) 1/2 cup frozen corn 1/2 cup black beans 1/2 cup diced tomatoes and chilis (rotel) 3 TBSP salsa (any kind you like) **As little or as much shredded cheese as you want to top** Taco/Mexican seasoning to taste 1 avocado Jalapeño Cilantro to taste Brown the ground turkey with seasoning & mix the beans/corn/tomatoes in. Stir gently and let simmer 5-10 mins. Sprinkle cheese if desired and cover for 2 mins until melted! Chop cilantro, dice avocado and slice jalapeños to top. Enjoy 😊

✨L o n g P o s t A l e r t ✨ . This last week was kind of a big deal for me. . I taught my first official solo lesson, I’ve fully re-immersed myself in my health goals, and I hit a new and exciting milestone in my online business. . Last week was my biggest week in business to date. We can somewhat thank Salted Caramel for the growth because pretty well everyone and their dog wanted to get their hands on it... and understandably so 😋 . But more than that, I can thank my consistent effort. Even though I am only putting in about 10 hours a week, weaving this business into the pockets of my day as a full time student, I show up. Every day. I do what I know I need to do to create my own success, my own business I’m proud of, my own empire. . It’s not even about my personal business growth though. My team had an absolute 🔥🔥🔥 week, too. It has been so amazing to work together, learn together, HELP PEOPLE together. Oh, and also make a pretty kick-ass income together. (Health+Wealth 🌱 I tell ya, it’s the dream) . This last week I earned MORE than what I would have at an entry-level job working FULL TIME. That’s right, in my consistent 10 hours a week, I earned MORE than I would have working 40 hours. Plus, I get to choose when and where I work. Did I do most of it in my pyjamas? You bet your ass I did. Was most of it from the comfort of my couch with a fuzzy blanket and my favourite coffee mug in hand? Yes again. But still, MORE than a full time job. It’s actually still hard for me to even comprehend. . And for some context, I started building my online business in health and wellness not even four months ago. . This is not a “get rich quick scheme”. It’s not a “make a few posts on Instagram and become a millionaire” sort of organization. It’s a business model that I know I was desperate for in this growing online gig economy. It’s a business where if you put in the WORK and you’re TEACHABLE, you will make MONEY and have the freedom to DREAM. . We are millennials. What are you most thankful for this year? For me, it’s this guy that I get to call my husband.😍This year has been filled with so many wonderful things, but it’s also brought its share of obstacles. Josh has been there every step of the way no matter what, and I’m so grateful for that. . Sometimes life doesn’t play out exactly how we planned it.
