Excelente opción low carb con proteína y grasas saludables! 🙌🏽 para cuando no tienes mucho tiempo o energía para preparar tu almuerzo o cena un omellette jamás falla ;) puedes rellenarlo de las verduras de tu elección en este caso es pico de gallo pero puedes incorporar nopales, espinacas, champiñones... no hay excusa para saltarse el almuerzo o cena, opciones saludables y rápidas siempre habrá! De guarniciones agregé, pico de gallo con queso panela y aguacate. Si deseas agregar carbohidratos puedes agregar una rebanada de pan Sara Lee o totopos Susalia y depear con el aguacate 😍 en fin hay mil maneras de combinar. Siempre healthy, nunca inhealthy. PS Recipe as written is not blow your head off spicy, but it’s got a decent buzz to it!🔥🔥 . 7 oz /200g dried rice noodles dried, WIDE STIR FRY: 2 tbsp oil 3 large cloves of garlic , minced 2 birds eye chilli or Thai chillies, deseeded, very finely chopped (adjust spiciness) 1/2 onion , sliced 200 g /7oz chicken thighs , cut into bite size pieces (breast ok too) 2 tsp fish sauce (or soy sauce) 2 green onions, cut into 3cm/2" pieces 1 cup Thai or Thai Holy Basil leaves (sub regular basil) SAUCE: 3 tbsp oyster sauce 1 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce* 1 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce* 2 tsp sugar 1 tbsp water . 1. This is great, but a little while later your muscles deflate and go back to what they were looking like before you went to the gym. This phenomenon many people are familiar with is known as the “pump”. But what is the “pump”?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📍The “pump” is actually what we call “transient hypertrophy” (transient=temporary, hypertrophy=muscle size increase). Transient hypertrophy (“pump”) occurs because fluid accumulates in the interstitial spaces of the muscle that comes from the blood plasma which is known as edema. You can also kind of think of it as inflammation.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📍I’ve seen a lot of Instagram posts about people chasing the pump and not focusing on progressive overload. Focusing more on progressive overload is definitely the way to go if you’re looking to increase muscle size long term. With progressive overload you will definitely still get a pump. If you only go for the pump, it’s not wrong to say you will gain some muscle size, although there is more research needed.
