Last night's run was a MESS! I was tired and dehydrated (dry heat at home and in the office) but I got it done. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿพ I did notice a change when I looked down at the treadmill in disgust. My right foot was landing straight with my toe pointed forward. In the past, my toe strike would be outwards and as simple physics implies, it wasn't efficient. This breakthrough is courtesy of @trifitlifestyle who has been working on releasing my hip tightness and strengthening my glutes. ๐Ÿ’ช Wednesday is gym day for me! Iโ€™m not sure I do anything more consistently than my Wednesday workout at @nwfitnessproject and I look forward to it every week! โฃ โฃ This isnโ€™t from class because I donโ€™t take videos in class. (But we did do pull-ups in class!) Here is one of my favorite chin-up variations. I love paused chin-ups because they help develop control through the entire movement. You can pause on the way up too if you really want some ๐Ÿ”ฅโฃ โฃ As always, start with fewer reps and go for high quality. I am doing 3 pauses here but you can always start with 1! Started a new training program tonite, a little more than I'm used to & feeling it! 6 x 8 deadlifts, 6 x 8 DB bent over.rows, 10 x 8 pullups, 3 x 50 ft farmer carry, finished off with 35 min on the Air Runner. I would do this workout at the end of my session so the body could be pre-exhausted : : โœ…I explained a little bit in the video but itโ€™s a rep/second deal. However many reps you do, thatโ€™s how many seconds you will hold it coming back out to a neutral position. Starting with one and so forth.. you can even give yourself a number and count backwards to work your way down to one.. I only got to a couple reps on my 7th one.
