《《BOBY POSITIVE 》》 At my highest weight i couldnt even fit into a swim suit. They didnt have one that was my size so i use to just wear a t-shirt and shorts to swim in. Even after losing over 240 pounds and having loose skin. It just feels amazing to fit inside swim wear. I know alot people have opinion how if you don't look like a model you shouldnt be in a bikini. For me personally i don't care for that opinion. I believe all bodies are good bodies. Wear what makes you feel comfortable for whatever you are doing. Don't let others make you feel bad for feeling good about yourself. Side note im not saying go naked or show everything that your momma gave ya, but love the body your in. ❤

⁣It’s so important to take time to disconnect and reset; to set aside the stresses and worries of the world and just be completely enveloped in the present, magical moments 🧘🏼‍♀️⠀ ⠀⠀ ⁣⁣I had a wonderful weekend completely unplugged and offline. Ask yourself this: What is your 🆆🅷🆈❓ What motivates you to train everyday? Is it simply because you wanna look great on the beach? Or feel extremely strong lifting hundreds of pounds? Maybe you just want to live a healthier and more active lifestyle? Regardless of what motivates 🆈🅾🆄 the key to sticking with it is to make sure that the reason you are doing this is not for anyone else but yourself! Motivation in theory doesn't actually exist. You don't choose to workout because you felt motivated that day. You chose to workout because you enjoy it. Why do you enjoy it? Cause it makes you feel good. Why does it make you feel good? Cause you're accomplishing a goal you set out to achieve & THAT is what motivates you to train. Without goals you have no sense of direction. Without a sense of direction you feel like you are accomplishing nothing. Therefore you will eventually quit because you aren't seeing the benefit due to the lack of progress or results you aren't getting. As someone whose been training for 10 years I can say with confidence that doing that same thing over & over can get tedious and boring. Setting new goals will allow for different programs & training styles to keep you actively engaged. Afterall it's a lifestyle, which means you need to do this for LIFE! Whether that means 10 years or the next 50 years, don't forget to keep it fun by actively seeking news ways to challenge yourself ❗

I take and show these photos to share different ways I use diet and exercise to stay in good shape as a 48 year old man. I have not due to the quarantine in California been to the gym in over 2 months now. Over the last 9 years I have trained in a gym 5 to 6 days a week, working 2 to 3 different muscles per day with resistance training as well as 20 to 30 minutes on either treadmill or elliptical for cardio. I take only 45 seconds rest in between sets to make it more difficult and productive. I eat a lot of calories per day to keep fuel for my body for all that working out. I started cutting my calorie intake over the last 2 months because of not burning calories from training and not wanting to gain bodyfat weight. The out come so far is how I look in these pics. My weight before was 183 lbs or so and not I weigh 171. The photos are unfiltered and with no muscle pump from resistance. When I can I will go back to the gym and increase my calories again. Get to know how your body works and responds and you can stay in shape for your whole life.
