Hello #instafitfam ° Another check in🤗 I started a new training block this week, accumulation phase, so rest is a little shorter and damn I'm getting my sweat on💦 Calories 2355 Weight sitting steady at around 55kg Training 5 x per week 3 x lower, 2 x upper. ° I've been trying out low bar squats apposed to high bar, lemme tell you, not every exercise comes naturally to most people however practice makes progress. I didn't feel comfortable at all doing these but I am determined and yesterday they just clicked. Low bar squats work more of your posterior chain👌 ° We all start somewhere and as I said practice makes progress so don't be afraid to step into the weights area and give it a crack-everyone is there to better their physique in one way or another, crank some of your fav tunes and SMASH IT👊 ° Loving my new #beats also, if you are looking for some comfy headphones I highly recommend!! ° at Perth, Western Australia

Okay so I'm going to be really honest with everyone, (even though I don't want to and it's very scary) ...I have to confess I've kind of fallen off track today. So I've been breaking down my meal prepping into one day at a time because I've never meal prep before and the idea of doing a whole week's worth was really really really scary and daunting. So every night I just plan everything out and do a whole days worth (or if I'm ambitious two days). Also my dad had been helping me out a lot in terms of prep sessions and we had a really good prep flow together. But this past weekend I tried to take the initiative to do everything on my own, by myself, from making the meal plan to the grocery list to shopping to making my meal and cooking everything and sectioning it out. And guess what happened? I got overwhelmed and ended up not doing it. I think the main problem was I fell into the whole "do it perfect" thinking and just shot myself in the foot. Instead of doing what I could with what I had I went all or nothing and did nothing because I couldn't do it perfectly and so here we are. I guess what had been working was just improvising and adjusting my plan so that even if I didn't quite have all the ingredients or tools, I'd still prep something for the next day and was doing what I could with what I had available. The mistake I made this weekend was putting it off for "when I had everything"and when those circumstances never came up, just giving up and doing nothing. I feel pretty stupid about it right now but I think it's important to be honest in this moment and own up to my mistake. In the future I need to tolerate imperfections and just dive head first instead of waiting. Meal prep is about creating healthy habits and doing things consistently not following a plan to the T. I can use this opportunity to learn doing a little something, anything really, is always better than doing nothing at all

It has officially been F O U R Y E A R S!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Four years ago I decided enough was enough and I was freaking worthy of living a life that made me proud. I was tired of feeling stuck. I was recovering from two back to back surgeries for endometriosis, I was newly divorced, living on my own for the first time, and my pantry was full of cereal because literally that’s all I could afford. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But I KNEW I needed change and I realized that it was up to ME to make that happen. I started coaching to hold myself accountable because I knew I would show up for others before I showed up for myself (crazy how our mind works, right?). What happened over the next few weeks, months, and years has turned into an absolute blessing, not only for me but for my family and my team. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have met some of the most amazing women who always have my back no matter what, we get spoiled like crazy for our hard work, we get to work toward our own dreams instead of always working for someone else’s, and most importantly, I am the healthiest we have ever been! (and I can afford more than just cereal now 😂) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ My only regret is that I waited so long. I waited for the perfect time to get started when really, the timing will never be perfect. If we want our circumstances to change, we need to take action right now. Not tomorrow, not months or years from now. We owe it to ourselves and our future to take action and live a life that makes us proud💗 at Naples, Florida

Y'all, I'm not gonna lie, starting this fitness gig hasn't always been easy! But starting something new rarely is!
