Happy Thursday! Yes I know it's 5:50 am........but my body was done sleeping at 4am this Morning! So got up came to tan (I need some color lol) did a 40 min cardio session, did a 10 min hydra chair massage and now I'm heading home to make my lunch. Yesterday I got a massage and slept like a baby. Sometimes we give so much of ourselves to our family, our work, our friends.....that we leave our bodies last and then wonder why the aches and pains. So today I challenge you to take care of your body! Eat good food that will fuel you. Sleep well, get a massage! Do a 10 min or a 50 min work out......just get your heart going. Take vitamins and get that sunshine on! More importantly.....LOVE YOURSELF!!!! THE JOY OF PORRIDGE:::I've not made myself a bowl of porridge for a few weeks and it is always one of those meals I forget how good it is. Today I topped my #gfoats with an old banana (if it didn't go here it was destined for banana bread), walnuts, maple syrup and a tiny bit of peanut butter just so I can wash out the jar, but it sort of worked!! Through my years of touring and moving around I have learnt quite a few hacks. We realised that we should share our tips on how we keep up with our health routine whilst on the go. 👍 - ✅ If possible get an @airbnb or a hotel room with a kitchenette. That way you can stock up on fresh foods and make your own meals without having to eat out or buy processed food on the go. You'll also be saving pennies. - ✅ Be prepared with healthy snacks: we pack a couple of days worth of snacks (this time we packed @wheyheyofficial and @rxbar) and look for healthy nuts, seeds and dried fruits alternatives. We love lot of fresh fruits on the go too. - ✅ Locate healthy food restaurants. We are so in love with @hunza_ibiza, a lovely family run slow food cafe in the heart of San Antonio and had breakfast there every day. 💚 - ✅ If you have space, bring your favourite protein and green powders. Today, I am so proud of myself I decided to add in 100m sprint during 4 km. Here was my original plan: (400m run --> 100 m sprint -->300 run)*5 sets. After the first set, I was fine. When it came to the second set, I was like "what am I doing here😩", "I will die😣". However, before the third run, a voice came to my head and saying: "People set their limit before they actually reach it".So, I decided to listen to my body. "Am I too tired to hold on?", "Are my body too sore and exhausted to move?" Non of these answers were yes even I was so out of breath😂. Therefore, I said to myself: you are almost there, just hang in there. You can do it. And I did it😆. So next time, when you feel so much feeling of giving up, try to encourage yourself and to go beyond ur limit. You will find that the impossible is possible😍😍😍 #justdoit #keephealthy #keeptrying

I go gym 3 times a week and every time this lovely old man is there. He hobbles up with his walking stick and goes onto the step machine for a hour. I stopped and spoke to him today, asked if he minded if I asked him his age, his response was ‘I’m too old for you me duck’ 🤣 but lol he is 89 years old. Had numerous surgeries, but refuses to give up. The doctors wanted to put him in a wheelchair but he told them that would never happen, he comes to the gym 5 days a week does a hour on the step machine and an hour on the treadmill. He told me it’s not only for his body but for his mind too. Healthy mind is just as important and being able to be independent and well starts with a healthy mind. He told me I could sit in a chair and become depressed and probably die a lot sooner, but he chooses not to and makes sure he does something about it. So what’s your excuse? I don’t believe anyone should have excuses to look after themselves, their health! If a 89 year old man can after more surgeries than I’ve had hot dinners anyone can!
