This journey hasn’t been an easy one I started this keto journey at the end of October 2018 weighing the highest of my adult life which took a toll on my health and made me a little self-conscious. I had started to develop high blood pressure issues & knee pains, constantly feeling tired and without energy. Until I heard about the Keto lifestyle. That night I went home and started looking up information about Keto, finding a lot of interesting studies and medical advice. Having reached my heaviest of 300lbs wearing size 26w I said, “No more I want to be around for my children.” That Monday I started my Ketogenic journey being very strict keto counting my carbs, fasting I started seeing results almost immediately losing 13lbs in the first week. Boy was I excited and extra motivated. Once I reached my first 25lbs weight loss goal I began incorporating exercises every other day for 30 mins. People began to ask, and I told them it’s Keto which is a lifestyle not a diet. Being a mom crazy eating was happening in the house lots of junk food and eating at all hours, but I was still able to stay strong and committed. Simply thinking it has cost me a lot of work to lose it just to gain it back for a delight that lasts but a few seconds. Long and behold through my journey of almost a year I have lost 140lbs going from 300lbs to 160lbs and from size 26w to size 6-8 from an 2x to a small. Right now, I exercise daily anywhere from 1-2hrs. and maintain intermittent fasting anywhere between 16-18 hrs. and eating 2 meals a day. It wasn’t easy but with dedication, commitment and motivation you can reach the goals you set for yourself and I am living proof of that. And currently have lost a total of 144lbs and weigh 156lbs total thank you so much for listening to my journey God Bless!!
