This is such a realistic post. I think time and time again we think “if only I were thinner” or “prettier”, or if I had plastic surgery. It all starts inside. THAT’S OK ❤️❤️❤️ . Why is it that people we haven’t seen in a while or even complete strangers ask us if we’re married or if we have kids? I get messages from complete strangers asking about my relationship, asking when I’ll get married & asking why I haven’t got children yet as I’m ‘getting on’. It’s annoying & to be honest, it’s downright rude. . What business is it of other people? Why do they feel the need to comment on my life? I’m HAPPY and honestly, that’s all that really matters. . If you’re going to ask an old friend a question or worse yet, someone you don’t even know; let your first question be “HOW ARE YOU” or ask if they’re happy or living their best life? Ask them if they’re ok? - You might be the first person to check in with them! . To all my ladies (and men) who feel behind in life… trust me YOU ARE NOT! Although it might feel like everyone around you is getting married, having kids or growing up… it’s just your focus. Trust me that there are equal if not more people starting new relationships, ending relationships, going back to uni, starting uni, traveling the world, throwing in their jobs or changing careers to pursue what truly sets their soul on fire. Day 12 y’all !! #ketodad75hard But no wee man tonight :( He needed a break as he said, he is to sore. 6 weeks between these photos! Just goes to show when you put your mind to something, make a plan and follow it...results happen! . I bought these pants online in my usual size and when I tried them on they were way too small. Try this easy freezer trick: Line a casserole dish with foil, leaving an overhang on two sides before adding the prepared pasta and freezing until just firm. Then, use the overhangs to lift the casserole out of the dish so it can stay in the freezer up to two months and simply pop back into the dish when it's time to cook. Ingredients 1 large butternut squash 3 clove garlic 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 lb. rigatoni 1/2 c. heavy cream 3 c. shredded fontina 2 tbsp. chopped fresh sage 1 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. freshly ground pepper 1 c. panko breadcrumbs Directions Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. This is THRIVING after breast cancer - between 2018 to 2019 I went from an Overweight BMI to an Obese BMI to a NORMAL BMI!!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 . It disappoints me that it took a life threatening diagnosis for me to wake up and make my health a priority. Survival was not in my favor, HOWEVER, I am NOT READY TO DIE! I’ve got more living to do and I’m gonna do it!! But let me be clear, I never woke up to a 53 lb loss. This took an incredible amount of determination and discipline but I did it. If you know me well enough you know I do everything at 200% and losing pre and post chemo weight was no exception. I will say I couldn’t have done this without my Oncology team, I look up to them so much. I wanted to make them proud of me - I looked forward to each appointment I had, I wanted to show them I was literally moving the needle. I couldn’t just beat cancer and go back to how I always lived NO WAY. Asparagus-Stuffed Chicken 😋 Eat or Pass? 😍 . 3 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts (about 1 1/2 pounds) To taste Kosher Salt To taste Ground Black Pepper 1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest (Zest of 1 Lemon) 9-12 stalks Fresh Asparagus (depends on how large the stalks of asparagus are) 3/4 Cup Shredded Provolone Cheese (Can substitute with sliced provolone ( 3-6 slices depending on thickness) ) 1 1/2 Teaspoons Paprika (Can substitute with smoked paprika) 1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Rosemary (Can substitute with 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary) 1 Tablespoon Chopped Fresh Thyme (Can substitute with 1 teaspoon of dried thyme) 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter 3 Tablespoons Lemon Juice (Optional) (juice of 1 lemon). . Directions Preheat oven to 400F/200C Butterfly the chicken breast in half, length-wise, leaving it intact on one side to create a pocket for stuffing. Season the inside of the chicken breast with salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Add 3-4 stalks of asparagus and the provolone cheese in the center of each chicken breast and fold over, to enclose the filling. . Season the outside of the chicken breast with salt, pepper, paprika, and herbs. Rub the seasoning into the chicken breast and set aside. Heat a large, oven safe pan over medium heat and add the butter. Once hot, sear the chicken until golden brown, about 3 to 5 minutes on each side. Cover the pan with foil, place in the oven, and bake until the chicken is cooked through, about 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow rest for about a few minutes before serving. Simply throw all the ingredients - minus the shrimp - in a slow cooker, then add the shrimp and cauliflower rice 20 minutes before serving. . . INGREDIENTS. ✓3 lbs Chicken Thighs, boneless and skinless (I used the ones from my ButcherBox) ✓1 lb frozen Shrimp, deveined, no tails ✓1 lb Sausage, cut into rounds ✓1 Bell Pepper, diced ✓1 Onion, Diced ✓2 Celery Stalks, diced ✓4 T Garlic in Olive Oil ✓6 ounces Tomato Paste ✓15 ounces Diced Tomatoes ✓1 T Cajun Seasoning ✓1/2 tsp each: Cayenne, Thyme, Oregano, Pepper ✓1/2 tsp Xanthan Gum ✓1-2 cup Chicken Bone Broth INSTRUCTIONS. 🔹Add all the ingredients except the shrimp in your slow cooker. The moment a picture from 4 years ago comes up in your Facebook memories and you realize you still have the outfit....except you’ve lost 160 pounds since then. 🤣 . . I can’t get over how SHORT this sweater used to be on me!! Now it’s almost to my knees! I remember being so uncomfortable having this picture taken because there wasn’t anything for me to hide behind, so my go to was always “fold your arms over your stomach to somehow try and hide things that you’re self conscious about.” . .
