Might be hard to see here because they are practically nonexistent but, my vastus medialis (the quad muscle on the inner thigh located right above the knee cap) is tiny compared to my rectus femoris (the part of the quad that is the upper, outer portion). I believe this to be bc I’ve rarely target it through any leg exercises. I just squat. A lot. With a normal stance. However, I feel I hit it the most when I have a slight rotation with my knees pointed away from each other on the leg extensions. So, this next meso, I will do more targeting of this area. # If anyone has any suggestions of thoughts on how to hit more of the “tear drop” area of the quads, please, drop it in the comments. Round 2 day 5 done ✅ I was able to push myself so much harder! Was able to do most of the pushups at least 4 times before having to modify, but that’s a win in my book because last month all I did was modify! #Winning Especially those damn Sphinx blasters, I normally modify modify on my knees and touch my shoulder! Who would have thought that my first job at 14 years old at an arena snack bar would introduce me to the girl that’s helped me grow so much in the last year💗 Funny thing is we never really became friends back then. We just worked together. And then about 11 years later, thanks to social media, we got in touch again because of #momlife. I was trying everything to lose the weight and she showed me it was possible. Because of that connection, I’ve become the healthiest and strongest that I’ve ever been! Now we work together again but more than that, she’s become one of my best friends. We talk every single day and push each other to do MORE. Today, I received this gift in the mail from her for hitting a milestone in my business recently. It’s got my team name on it! “We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated” ~~||Maya Angelou|| . . #HappyHumpDay. 1st day in the gym since week and had to make it count, so #GlutesDay. . . 3mi easy run, followed by 65mins #LowerBodyBurn, then finished off with some 100m Sprint repeats (this was particularly harder than usual as I did them post workout and it was super windy- the some of the laps are off by by sec or so (defects of manually lapping) my typical 100m sprints ranges 17-20secs... if I do my laps properly on my watch.) I particularly love leg/glutes day. Wasn’t always the case when I just started working out. But I realized my leg muscles are particularly HARD TO SCULPT, compare to my torso and upper body, so I placed a lot of emphasis on them when I use to train harder. Unfortunately with me slacking throughout 2017 with my gym sessions my #LegGains were the first to go 😭 and needles to say it’s been hard to see the loss, but I’m back at training these bad boys to where they use to be and to get them even better than before #LegGoals #BuildABooty #athleticStrength. #StrongLegsAndGlutes

Day 59 of 80 Leg Day! I used to hate leg day! I love it now! You burn so many calories on leg day because you legs are a big muscle group. I have always hated the way my legs looked. Even when I have lost weight before. Since I have been doing all of these programs I have really been shaping and leaning out my legs and I love love it! ❤️ Happy Wednesday!

Once again, I see why it is SO important to take before & after photos. WHY? Because I didn't notice any difference in my body simply from looking in the mirror/scale. I certainly FELT stronger and healthier but I still lost my motivation from time to time because I didn't notice the small changes 😕😕 But NOW? Looking back at the before photo, even the smallest changes are SO clear. I'm appreciating every changes small or big. - Note1 : I know the angle and proportion is different (phone is upright on the after photo) but I had no choice but to take it differently because I'm going to take progress/before & after pics at this angle from now on. I feel like it's more of a "realistic" angle. Note 2: I know my legs are further apart than the before one but I already washed and got into my clean clothes before noticing. Note 3: Excuse my cat's feat. He's a very curious one 😅 #beforeandafter

It’s crazy to think how fast a week can go when you’re just relaxing😭😭 (btw @beccasillsfit is basically my favorite human and literally makes my day everyday) Today is my first day back to school for the last quarter of the year!!! I have 10 weeks till I’m officially graduated! How exciting😍😍 - I’m hoping these weeks go by much faster than the last quarter so fingers crossed🤞🏻 - Anyways, I’m feeling much better today so after school I’ll be hitting the gym and pumping out an amazing leg day (and hopefully a video)💞😊 - I’m pretty happy with my progress so far and today starts my 2nd week on my program!! Whoop whoop🎉 - What workout are planing on hitting today??



Sadly spring break is coming to an end soon☹️ - Tomorrow will be the end of my first week on my 8 week program. It’s gonna be tough once school starts since it has me working out 6 days a week. - I feel good so far during this program tho so I highly recommend it😊 Today was roughhhh because I had to do stair master for 12 minutes and I never do that😂😂 What’s something you avoid doing at the gym even when you know you should?🤔
