These pictures are two months apart. This was from back in April-May. The first picture I worked out hard and lifted heavy, I might've done cardio here and there but not too consistent with it . My diet and tracking what I ate was all over the place and didn't have structure. The second pic was two months of following macros and doing atleast 15-30mins of cardio every few days. I always heard diet is key but I never really listened to that advice until I saw the changes myself. I finally had abs that I've never seen before and I was getting so many compliments. More people asked me if I competed at that point since everyone saw how quickly my physique had changed. I think that was when I actually started thinking of really doing a show and starting prep. To me it's addicting to see how much you can improve your physique and how good you can feel about yourself. Just knowing I got myself to look this way mainly off tracking macros and not even doing that much cardio or changing the way I workout. So many differences between the the pics on the left and right versus the middle pic... my face was so big, my neck! I would always wear flowy shirts and and dresses to cover my stomach๐Ÿ˜ฉ I literally was almost in tears yesterday because I didn't feel comfortable wearing that fitted shirt in the middle pic, in my head I looked fat! But when look at these old pics I can definitely see how far I've come in just 2 months. WINTER IS COMING: Itโ€™s time to put the shorts, stringers, tanks and T-shirts away for the year and get out the coats, jumpers, cardigans and all things knitwearโ—๏ธโ•โ—๏ธ . . . Usually for the casual gym bro this is the perfect time for the โ€œsee food dietโ€ (see food and eat it ๐Ÿ˜‚ ). To bulk as quickly as possible, and put on as much weight as possible, in the hopes that you add a small amount of muscle under all the fatโ—๏ธโ—๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ณ . . . My problem with this is that it seems pretty counter productive to both sides of the argument. You end up cancelling out all the hard work of your cut, and losing all the hard-earned definition you fought so hard to get. What is the point in getting lean for a couple of weeks before a Bulk? Itโ€™s just a waste of time ๐Ÿ•“ and you end up losing all your definition and carry more fat than you ever wanted. Youโ€™ll just want to get straight back into a cut which means youโ€™ll never make any considerable gains in the process. . . . THE ANSWER: Lean Bulk! Lean Bulk! Lean Bulk! Take your time with your weight gain, donโ€™t rush it. Put yourself in a very conservative calorie surplus and monitor it every day. This way you can work towards a body Recomposition. Switch back and forth between bulking and mini cuts in order to remain lean but slowly add size. Focus on your strength in the gym. Make progression on your lifts and you will ๐Ÿ’ฏ% see gains. . . . TARGET: I aim to be bigger and leaner than ever before by the time winter is over. That way Iโ€™ll be shredded and ready for summer! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผโ˜€๏ธโ˜€๏ธ at Rugby, Warwickshire

Today's lunch was quorn sausages with mixed grains and green beans. This week Dave and I have decided to reduce our meat consumption. I have a massive problem with people preaching about plant based eating to anyone they can. This is a decision we made for our own reasons. We will keep eating meat but less often. Please don't give in to peer pressure into going plantbased, paleo or keto or any other diet for that matter, do your own research. I will still be tracking macros and will revert to previous diet if there are any negative effects, especially given my medical history. A healthy mind is just as important as having a healthy body. Your body may love keto but if it stops you socialising or makes your eating disordered it isnt the right time. I always feel proud after my longruns. I used to think that running isn't a 'big deal' but it is. It's something you need to build up to and work for. For some it's maybe easier, for others not. I don't know how it was or is for me but i'm proud that i can say since a whike now, that i can do regular a 20km run. I always try to remind me from where i once started and just see my progress. My feelings during a longrun are almost everytime like a rollercoaster but the best one is almost everytime at the end after i reached my goal. I also try to enjoy the moments during my run, like the sunbeams, a nice view, seeing other runners, seeing that i come closer to my goal with every km and just my fantasy thoughts.๐Ÿ’ญ So today i made another 20km run with a pace of 5'00" per km. It went pretty good and i also enjoyed to run in the leaves with the beautiful morningsun.๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿโ˜€ I was also at the gym afterwards to do a few exercises for my upperbody and my abs and i also stretched a bit.
