COFFEE. • A world without coffee would be a terrible place to live. • I recently made some big changes to how I’m telling my coffee these days. The biggest one is that I’ve gotten rid of all the Splenda I was using AND switched to decaf. • In the beginning of the year I was using 4 Splendas and also drinking a diet pop somewhere in the day. Over the last 30 days I got rid of all the Splenda (i was down to only 2 packets per coffee) and the diet pop. • Artificial sweeteners are probably one of the most toxic things you can put in your body. They screw with your gut health and potentially cause you cancer. • So if you’re someone who likes to use artificial sweeteners, I’m not telling you how to live your life, I’m just suggesting that you might want to figure out how to cut back on using them. • Side note: if you do think about cutting back on them, check the labels on your pre-workout, protein powder, and any supplement you may take because they kind of get hidden in there. • Oh and the only reason I switched to decaf is because we’re trying to get pregnant, and apparently caffeine is bad for developing babies sooooo I made the switch to get into the habit early. . . . . . . . #splenda #coffee #decaf #decafcoffee #fitcouple #fitspo #marriedcouple #entrepreneur #smallbusiness #smallbusinessowner #makechanges #healthyliving #wellness #healthy #fitness #coach #themoreyouknow

Ascension food! Food for our light bodies 💜 food to raise the vibe , not lower it . Hello 👋 all 💜 today has been super busy, so I spent this evening making these vegan , gluten free , NO PALM OIL and sugar free Snicker Bites , I originally tried to make snicker bars but I got a bit mixed up with the ingredients so I had to improvise and this is what I ended up with and omg they are Amazing!! And taste just like snickers 😀 in a blender I made oat flour ( gluten free ) by blending oats , I put the mix in a separate dish , then I soaked dates for 10 min in hot water ( I used distilled) I added the drained dates to the blender, I then added 2 big tablespoons of peanut butter ( I used one that was palm oil free and organic ) I added two tablespoons of vanilla and some sea salt , blend up until it makes a caramel mixture , i then blended the mixture and the oats together , I added peanuts ( I used salted ) I moulded into shapes and covered in dark vegan choc , I put them in the freezer for a bit. ingredients = 2 mugs of oat flour ) to make the caramel you use 1 mug of dates - 2 tablespoons peanut butter - salt , 1 or 2 tablespoons of vanilla , you can add as many peanuts as you feel guided, They are really tasty 😋 and healthy , I stocked up with them for when I get that sweet craving , oh and thank you to my mum for the glass cake stand 💜 💜💜more recipes on my Facebook walktalk&breathelight

If you believe in it hard enough, the universe will manifest it for you 🌌 If you're not aiming for the stars, you'll only get mediocre results. . ✴ When setting your goals, make sure you are creating short term as well as long term goals. This👏is👏so👏important! You especially need short term goals to keep yourself motivated! When you have goals that are set too far apart and seem unreachable within a certain time frame, that's when you start losing that motivation. Also, rewarding yourself every step of the way is KEY. I'm probably not doing this enough but I intend to focus on this a bit more for the new year 💕 I usually set myself daily, weekly, monthly, 3 months, 6 months, annual, 2 years and even 5 year goals! You'll only be able to start tracking your progress once you start setting goals for yourself. Take 10-20 min of your day to sit down, think over what you want and start designing your dream life. Does anyone else remember being a teenager and how you could pretty much eat whatever you wanted, never workout & not gain weight???!!! . . I can actually recall having candy bars for lunch and can we just talk about the massive coffee cake the school district sold to us at "nutrition". NUTRITION!!!! . . Now, let's talk about when our metabolism slowed down and those food choices led to weight gain, low energy, breakouts, etc....the list goes on and on. For me, it happened in my early 20s and it took me 10 years to learn the importance of good food choice and excercise. . . My revelation happened to come after my 1st pregnancy. I had gained 45 lbs and could not get it off on my own. I decided to go @ww. Weight Watchers taught me first and foremost how to make good food choices. I learned the importance of portion control and having a balanced diet. Weight Watchers also taught me the importance of movement and how just making good food choices alone wasn't enough. . . 3.5 years later I was pregnant again and this time I gained 55lbs. I headed back to Weight Watchers to get the support I needed to live a healthy lifestyle once again. . . Being healthy isn't about quick fixes. It is truly about making changes and lifestyle choices. The truth is though sometimes you need a little help doing that. It might be a program like Weight Watchers, an accountability group, a gym buddy, a doctor or nutritionist. What’s for breakfast? Like many people, I grew up eating toast or cereal for breakfast every day, and for much of my life I thought those were the only real breakfast options (maybe a bit of bacon & eggs on the weekend). Why? I guess just because it’s what society tells us is ‘normal’ (& because it’s what the advertisers want us to think). But things have changed now...these days I recognise that any food can be a breakfast food! Here’s today’s breakfast choice, a couple of home-made spinach falafels, some buttery scrambled eggs and a handful of rocket. My top tips for a healthy breakfast: 1. Try to make sure it includes some protein, protein keeps you feeling full as well as being vital for all your body’s repair processes. 2. Try to always include some veg (or fruit) with your breakfast - I encourage you all to eat as many portions of veg as you can. 3. Mix it up and eat different things throughout the week, variety is really important for your microbiome so try not to eat the same breakfast every day. 4. This might sound a bit surprising and bizarre. I used to think that changing the things that I don’t like about my body will help me to find happiness. This was my way of thinking CRAPPY BODY minus 10% of fat minus 10 kg minus wobbly bum and legs = HAPPY 😆 The reality is that after achieving all of my goals I was still unhappy. So, what did I do next? Well, I started changing my body even more. This was when I decided that a six pack would definitely put a smile on my face. I don’t mean a six pack of beer 🍺 but nice and chiselled abs. The abs happened and a short period of joy accompanied them but then.... I hope that you get the message - focusing on your body shape is absolutely pointless! Start focusing on your body’s functionality, resist body shaming, promote self compassion and challenge your unrealistic beliefs! If you don’t know where to start give me a shout. You want to know my biggest fears I’ve only recently discovered? ⁣ ⁣ I’m afraid of being seen as crazy.⁣ ⁣ I have lived my whole life not really unleashing my emotions. I lived a lot of it either bottling up my feelings or not being heard. I would cry and whine a lot as a child, but as an adult I would hold anxiety inside not advocating for myself or sharing my anger, dissatisfaction, or sadness. If you know me in person, have you ever seen me get mad? Like, I mean even a little mad? Feelings like that rumble below the surface and instead of unleashing them at someone, I internalize them on myself. ⁣ See, I have long attached showing emotion as unladylike, unprofessional, or a sign of being unstable and “crazy”. Yeah I’m sure a lot of this was learned as a child, but as an adult I also have been in situations of worry of how I looked or acted and I never wanted to be perceived as off the rails. My lack of organization, goofiness, and random quips already have me deemed by people as scatterbrained, so do you think I’ve wanted to be crazy on top of that too? Hell NO!⁣ ⁣ The funny thing is I have experienced this behavior from other people, either in a passive agressive or manipulative form and it can be very hurtful to my kind heart. Over time, this can be crazier than any isolated outburst or tantrum I might have. So if I do get upset, you better believe I have a justification for it and that it comes from passion and the desire to make my voice heard speaking up for what’s right or wrong. And I know as I’ve gotten older that I have a lot of good stuff to say rooted in empathy and love. It’s really not crazy at all.⁣ ⁣ I truthfully don’t have anything heavy on my mind I want to be angry or sad about in this moment. I just want to release and shed this old self that felt I couldn’t share my real truth openly with others. In order to have what we desire, we have to be willing to give up some of what we’re used to. I love my blonde hair 💁‍♀️ but I was ready for a change. You might not even realize how good you CAN feel... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Constant low energy, joint pain, headaches, mental fog, bloating… has a tendency to become normal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Processed food and artificial sweeteners start to taste… normal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Not being able to reach your toes or move your body through full ranges of motion… normal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But it’s not normal to feel tired all the time. Or to get headaches every afternoon. Or to lack mobility. Or to feel stomach pain every time you eat. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You can feel SO much better. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Happier, energized, and pain-free! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But you have to stop accepting what others will call “normal”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don’t settle for that.
