I know how easy it is to feel like the key to happiness is losing weight. 🗝 I’ve been there too. But losing weight doesn’t always lead to the self acceptance and self confidence that you’re looking for in order to be happy. You might hit that goal on the scale and then realize that the number is the ONLY thing that actually changed. You might not believe it now, and that is ok. Like your baby you’ve spent hours curating for a certain look and feel now just feels blah and you’re not sure if you’re editing well or if your colors are off and you’re about to snap? Here’s the cure: Shut your dang phone off and go outside. If the weather sucks, go into natural light somewhere. If it’s night, go into a different room. Ok, turn your phone back on. 캐나다 칼리지 첫학기 후기/First semester review (ENG) #방학 #winterbreak 🤟🏻☃️ 한학기가 끝났어요. 금요일 수업은 그냥 널렁널렁 다녀오면 되는거라서 목요일이 진짜 끝이에요 . 어땠냐고요? 솔직히 캐나다 칼리지 생활 물로 봤거든요? 죽을뻔했어요 . 학교 + 생계유지 이걸 해내는 게 쉬운일이 아니더라고요. 적자는 면할 수 있을 줄 알았는데 칼리지 생활은 적자행진입니다 ㅋㅋㅋ 그것도 아주 큰 적자입니다. 아무리 알바해도 메꿔지지 않네요. 돈 없으면 안돼요. . 알바하고, 학교가고, 과제하고, 등등 해내느라 힘들었어요. 무엇보다도 ‘돈이 없다’는 사실이 이렇게 힘들 줄 몰랐네요 . 학교생활을 해보니 ‘직장인’ 시절이 그립더라고요. 평일에 ‘내 시간’은 없지만 저녁이나 주말에 편하게 돌아다니고 놀 수 있는 ‘내 돈’은 있잖아요. 다시 직장인 되면 밖에 나가서 닭갈비, 순두부 다 사먹을거예요! 학생이어도 시간 없는건 마찬가지랍니다. 주말에도 쉴 수 없어요. 과제가 항상 있거든요 . 4월 중순이면 학교생활도 끝나요. 한학기가 끝나니 이제야 아쉬운 감정이 드네요. 주말에 와서 숙제하던 학교 복도, 밤늦게 걸어가던 Pape길도 지금보니 정겨워요 . 3월부터는 인턴십을 해야 하는데, 저 데려갈 회사 없나요? 👀 공짜로 일해드려요☺️ . Today my school work is finished officially. I am going tomorrow but not tested in that class. So happy and relaxed! . How was my school? It was tough. As an international student as well as all grown up, I needed to pay all my bills by myself. I worked part time during the week. Managing time was not easy. . Also english was a struggle too. I wanted to express my ideas and thoughts but I was not able to do enough. However, thankfully, my classmates and professors were so understanding and helped me to feel confident with speaking, writing English. Thank you all! .
