With special guest @happilygrateful_ 🤗 ! Brooke is such an incredible inspiration and a wonderful reminder of how powerful gratitude can be. After losing her mom to cancer, Brooke's life was turned upside down. She was looking for a way to deal with it all when she created @happilygrateful_ on the down low ... A place to be grateful every day for anything big or small. Eventually family + friends found the account - and so did we!! We're so grateful we got to connect with Brooke and have her join us for our 'gratefuls' last night! Looking forward to many more 🙌🖤 . Share what you're grateful for in the comments below 👇👇

Whatever you are physically...male or female, strong or weak, ill or healthy--all those things matter less than what your heart contains. If you have the soul of a warrior, you are a warrior. All those other things, they are the glass that contains the lamp, but you are the light inside. - Cassandra Clare #warriorandweirdos #warrior #mentalillnesses #keepgoing #youareenough #enchanted

This time of year can come with a lot of pressure. Pressure to enjoy things fully. Pressure to spend time with your loved ones, nonstop. Pressure to be jolly and cheerful and full of spirit. • • Don’t let that pressure get to ya. Even during holidays, we need breaks! We need to rest. We need to slow the hell down. #reclaimingvulnerability

As we get closer to the holiday seasons, remember to mind your mind; mind your business and mind your body... and to tell everyone else to do the same if they cross the line. ⁣ 📸: @_risingstrong ⁣ Everyone always wants to voice their opinion (yes, we are all a culprit of it), so head into this season following the traditional rule that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. ⁣ ⁣ The tricky part is that what you think you’re saying or what is said to you isn’t always coming from a mean or hurtful place. For example, it really bothers me when people comment about what’s on my plate or how much I’m eating or not eating. Little do they know, eating in front of people is my TOP trigger and just getting me to sit at the table is a huge step and took a shit ton of energy for me to do. But they don’t know that, so I politely tell them that this is my anxiety and when they bring it up, it makes it even more difficult. ⁣ ⁣ And guess what? 99% of people totally get it and apologize. (Theres always gonna be 1% of ignorant people, unfortunately).⁣ ⁣ So, this season, remind yourself: ⁣ 💕 Some comments are better left unsaid ⁣ 💕 Some people don’t mean to offend you with their comments and just need to be informed ⁣ 💕 Do what you can do, eat what you can or what you want, and don’t let anyone else take away your power with their words ⁣ 💕Wear whatever clothing makes you feel great, whether it’s track pants and a hoodie or a sexy dress with a plunging neckline ⁣ ⁣ You do you, boo! ⁣ ⁣ 📸: @_risingstrong

Self-harm is an addiction like drugs or cigarettes. It's a trouble with another mental illnesses. It's a part of a personal storie. Old drawing with recent. IM OK AND I WILL BE. Another great post from @_jakewoodard let's hear from him There is something so sacred and beautiful about the divine feminine energy. It is the pure expression of love and radiance. When a woman is rooted in her divine feminine nature, she has the power to create worlds. She emits the vibration of love and creates healing within the hearts of those she comes in contact with. As men, we have to become more conscious of creating a safe environment for women. Not repressing her light. To hold space for her, to let her feel seen, heard and felt. When she can feel the depth of a man’s heart, she will trust him. When he isn’t present and has become unconscious, she loses her trust for him. We are all here working together in what I call earth school. It’s our job to create more harmony with one another. The women that show up to do the work at my spiritual healing retreats, always bring such a powerful energy. The majority of the guests that attend are women and the men that get accepted into the space can feel the power of the divine feminine presence. If you are interested in attending my next spiritual retreat visit or click the link in my bio to apply! Sending you ♾♥

Day 33: . So today I got some more Christmas shopping done and got to have lunch with James on his break 🥰 . After all that, I drove out to dads place to go for a swim, have dinner and hang out for a bit! Went for a swim with my lil bro and he was having so much fun splashing me haha 😂💕 . My parents bought me some parts for my car today so I can get it all fixed up! I’m so grateful for them for doing that because I’m so broke and wouldn’t have been able to get my car roadworthy for a while 😅🥰 . Overall had a pretty good day. Started off quite stressed and pissed off but after seeing my boyfriend and driving around I felt much better!! Now I’m home so I’m gonna watch some more Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings and eat ice cream haha 🤣

Let’s talk about it! ⇣ ⁣ What triggers you during the holidays? ⁣ ⁣ Okay, let’s get serious - Christmas isn’t all Fa-La-La. It is a really hard and dark time for a lot of people, but let’s talk about it. My biggest trigger is having all of these commitments and dinner plans with large groups of people. Anytime I feel EXPECTED to be somewhere, my anxiety gets triggered and when it’s the holidays, your loved ones and friends expect you to be here and there, and everywhere. Their intention comes from a kind place and I absolutely love spending Christmas with a bunch of my loved ones, but that’s not to say that my anxiety doesn’t step in and say, “Hey! Let’s have a panic party!” ⁣ ⁣ The key is that, regardless of how anxious I get, I still go. ⁣ ⁣ 🎄But I’m curious, what is your holiday anxiety trigger and how do you deal with it? ⁣ ⁣ 🎙This was a hot topic on our latest podcast episode - definitely worth listening to. You can find Anxious With An Attitude on Spotify, ITunes and many other podcast channels.

There are a lot of myths floating around out there about bipolar disorder - especially about what it’s really like for people living with them. We thought it was time to shut these down and finally set the record straight on bipolar disorder. Check it out! Link in bio.

Step 1: Squeeze your ass into jeans. ⁣⁣ Step 2: Try to bend in those damn jeans. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I swear, jeans are my arch nemesis. They’re a pain to get on; a pain to remove and they don’t feel near as good as leggings. What’s the point? 🤷🏼‍♀️⁣ ⁣ As for my vest that I’ve nicknamed “wholly mammoth”, now that’s the shit.

i hope none of you have to go through with any of those things, just know that you have loads of people there to support you. 🥰💕 • • #userbox #userboxes #thisuseris #thisuser #mentalillness #mentalillnesses
