Drop yours in the comments below, maybe I can help 😁 Keeping weights moderate in the build up the Open next week so no pb attempts here just keeping consistent, Back Squat 4×5 reps @65% R.I 115kg Goal was to move the weight as fast as possible.. Deficit Deadlifts.. my Absolute go to variation as I'm fairly weak in the first pull. BIKE SQUAT BALANCE - incorporating bands and balls into a squat pattern adds variety and helps activate abductors and adductors for fuller leg development in addition to the prime movers. This workout started with Bike - 3 min steady, 2 fast x 6. 3 x 20 reps of each squat with 2 minutes of balance after each round. Beat my 5km rowing time by 2 minutes and so I’m currently soaring higher than an eagle. Taking time to turn your biggest weakness into your biggest strength is more rewarding then sticking to what’s comfortable. Last summer I was petrified of overhead squats and snatches and now I look forward to theming my programming. Thank you to my coach for showing me fitness is about doing the things that scare you, take you out of your comfort zone and challenge you mentally. 🏆🏆🏆 at Brunel University

A short workout to burn off those post Chinese New Year calories! @changenevolve . The key word for today’s workout is called ‘Supersets’ Basically it means doing 2 different exercises immediately after one another. Both exercises could be either targeting the same muscle groups or 2 different muscle groups. . The combination that I did for my workout were overhead squats & deadlifts. I completed the workout in 3 sets: 1st set - 21 OHS / 21 Deadlifts 2nd set - 15 OHS / 15 Deadlifts 3rd set - 9 OHS / 9 Deadlifts . I’m just playing around with the numbers here. But you guys can keep it simple by sticking to a consistent number. I would recommend 10-15 reps if you are doing a loaded exercise (eg. With weights) and around anywhere between 18-20 reps if you’re using just your bodyweight . You could even use time based workouts, 1 min to do as many reps for your squats and immediately do as many reps as you can for your lunges in the next minute. Rest for 1 min after both exercises are done and continue for 3-5 sets in the same sequence. . This was a great AMRAP / HIIT workout. It was a 10 Minute AMRAP Partner WOD. We we're both able to get 9 rounds completed before the 10 minute timer, for a total of 18 if you count both of ours as 1 round each. Give this workout a try and let us know how many rounds you were able to complete.
