🔥 Heart rates were red hot this morning!! We love seeing so many F45ers using their Lionheart! 🔵 Heart Rate Zones:
- Light Blue - 0% to 50% of Max HR - Earning 0.005 points per second if above 10%
- Dark Blue - 60% to 70% of Max HR - Earning 0.01 points per second
- Purple - 70% - 85% of Max HR - Earning 0.019 points per second
- Red - 85% - 100% of Max HR - Earning 0.02 points per second 🔴 The Points System:
Time spent in a particular heart rate zone determines the rate you earn Lionheart points. The higher your zone, the faster you accumulate points. The target for an ideal F45 workout is 1 point per minute (or 45 points for a standard workout or 60 points for a Hollywood session). Lionheart points are accumulated faster in higher heart rate zones, so the longer a member stays in the higher zone, the more their points will be for the workout. 🔶 If you don't have a Lionheart HR monitor, we highly recommend you get one this week. It will take your training to the next level. Plus be added into our #teammornington studios fun and friendly competition to win prizes!!!

Weekly update on @gabtayy and her pain-free running progress 🏃🏼♀️💨
Up to 9mins (from 6mins) running pain-free on last week with better mechanics and more efficient use of her energy with hip/ankle mobility and motor control improving by the week.
As you can see, standing a lot taller in her posture, initial contact with the ground in a better position and overall a better arm/knee drive.
Still a work in progress and much to work on and learn but moving the needle in the right direction that’s for sure 👌

The heart rate zones themselves are a generic percentage of maximum heart rate, but the calculation of max heart rate for individuals relies on unique physiological factors that contribute to their heart rate, such as genetics, body composition etc. 🔴Lionheart Competitions:
The only competition is ultimately yourself! Because of these individual factors, Lionheart competitions are a bit of fun and serve as a motivating force when challenging members to improve their scores. 🔵Heart Rate Calculation:
The calculation for max HR = 220 - age 🔶If no age is provided in the member profile the age ’22' is used, which significantly impacts the scores. For this reason it’s important for members to verify their details are correct, particularly as their weight changes over time.

Nothing. If I want to do something I will always do everything in my power to get it done. Yes, sacrifices may have to be made, Yes, sometimes I have to go outside my comfort zone but never, and I mean never will anyone or anything stop me to getting to where I want to be or doing what I want to do

Big shoutout to this legend @nichole_lw who this past weekend competed in the #f45playoffs in Manly! Finishing in the top 15% of female competitors, Nic smashed her goals she has been training so hard for! 🔵🔴
Not only has she lost a whole person in body weight over time, Nic has developed a mindset that is all about persistence and commitment, allowing her to reach the lofty goals she sets herself.
