As I’m planning to increase the amount of time that I dedicate for practice (yoga 🧘‍♀️ ballet 👯‍♀️ and handstands 🤸‍♂️) I decided to consult a professional nutritionist and take this theme seriously. To be honest I believed I was eating quite well but didn’t really understand why I was feeling so tired🤔 On Tuesday I had my first meeting with him and oh boy🙈 I was shocked from the amount of incorrect myths I was holding about food or let’s say “healthy food”... 1hr handstand class with @circus_sam - - Had a lovely handstand class with Sam. In this he’s helping me lengthen up a little and also pushing me through my shoulders - - We did some fun shapes today with forearms that I’m terrible at. I can now kiiiiinda kick up into a forearm stand but can only hold it a few seconds b/c my shoulders just don’t open yet 🙃 Also did some headstand things which I did meh in since I’m still trying to figure out how to do the tripod headstand. Ended the class with some handstand endurance and wee massages (best part) - - Had a pretty great day mentally. Had a great chat with a friend as I swung on my hammock and then made some scones to eat (also a nice flat warming gift for the new roommate as well as a treat for my early morning coffee date with a friend 😊). Ended up taking a nap, but hopefully soon my afternoons will be filled with work instead of lazing about!

O, más bien, se transforman, y en lugar de desear un postre, tienes antojo de pescado o fruta. En este último caso, te animamos a que los satisfagas. En caso de tener un antojo menos saludable, busca estrategias que te funcionen a ti. Puede ser un paseo, una ducha fría o simplemente buscar un sustituto, como un yogur griego con frutos secos y pasas. . ----------------- . Cravings are very common in people who begin to change their diet. The desire for something sweet is one example. It is important to identify cravings and have strategies to placate them beforehand, because when they assail us we will have an irrational desire to satisfy them. Upperbody Strength Chin ups. I haven't trained this exercise for many years. Today I thought I would test it to see if I could do 10 repetitions. I could, despite I haven't focused on training Chin ups for years. How is it possible? Because my strength training these days are focused on exercises with higher complexity. I only do strength training once a week and when I do I focus on exercises which are higher on the "food chain" than chin ups. That allows me to still be able to do 10 chinups without even training them... Are you maximizing your gains and results from your strength training? Damn !!! I can now do the Tandoori/ mantle mount on the Slack line. Haha I am more excited about it than the fact that I am taking my first ever steps on a 'long line' which is way more difficult than the usual lines I have been walking on. I have an obsession with movement patterns & biomechanics & the mantle mount is an exemplary peice of it. It works on functionality & efficiency than strength, it requires harmony in the limbs & integration of the whole body. It should be effortless. Mine has become smooth only now after some attempts but it gets even better with experts. Your body is basically rotating as a fixed unit on an axis(line) with the help of the leg swing(notice my raised leg in the thumbnail. . .
