It’s hard for me to slowdown. I’m not sure what that means psychologically, but I know my challenge is not motivation to do more, but the acknowledgement that resting is beneficial. It all changed when I put down my excuses of why I couldn’t make this a lifestyle. . I stopped saying “I’ll try it and see what happens” and said “I’m committed to my health” ...the word “trying” always left room for me to walk away when things get tough. Committed meant I’m in it for the long haul. . It was never easy and still isn’t to this day but when I stopped starting over when life happened....my life started, a version of it I never experienced before. .
