I told myself at this point in life I'd never buy expensive workout clothes. To me, $40 for a pair of leggings is super expensive. Today my outfit is ridiculous. Top was $2 after coupon and has cute open back, cute strappy back bra was $1 after coupon, pants $10.88 at Wal-Mart and my shoes (non running) were $9.88 ast Wal-Mart. Boom. I'm still able to crush a workout without Lululemons. Monday night thoughts... Direct marketing. It seems like someone is always selling something. True. Many think it's annoying and I was one of those people. I read a statement that changed my mindset a bit. Something along the lines of " The opinions of others don't pay my bills or pay off my debt ". That resonated with me. It's kind of crazy, I really don't care about what people think of my actions (I stay legal, moral and ethical of course ;) ) Today I recorded my entire leg day workout in the gym. There was like 16 guys lifting in there. Last year me would have never done that! Now, my thought process is "who cares?". I enjoy making lifting videos so I am going to continue to do it. Also, with my business mind, how genius is direct marketing from a corporate standpoint? You don't have to pay your employees until they actually make a sale. Your employees do all the recruiting and you get free daily advertising through the social media channel. I am a big believer in, ' if something annoys you, stop doing it'. I have unfollowed many and it is very easy just to scroll past something on Facebook that you are not interested in. I am at peace, I am free. Ever wake up just on a mission to crush a goal!? This morning I woke up determined to hit a 225 deadlift. Haven't done it since my first trimester pregnant wth Tucker. This is the first vacation that I'm headed on that I truly don't care how I look in a bikini. I just put in the work in the gym and fuel my body with lots of food. Fully concerned about how my body performs over how it looks in a two piece. I'm happy my mindset has FINALLY changed. Not everyone has the same mindset, but for me I definitely prefer strong over skinny. Would I have loved to walk down the beach with a six pack? Hell yeah! 1 goal for the #250kchallenge is to get back to this. This was right before getting pregnant with Tuck. 156 lbs and scale said 19% BF (not sure on accuracy). I felt great and clothes just fit. There was never a struggle to find something in my closet. Plus a bonus... no bra needed πŸ˜‚ I've said this before but damn, I'm grateful I wasn't gifted big boobs. I did still have a lot of loose skin and it was always tucked in. Only high waisted errything from now on 😜 I know I can crush this goal because I've done it 2 other times. This page is mostly dedicated to lifting weights and body transformation, and a little sprinkle of my babies.Β  So if you are my friend in real life, bear with me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I'm 32, married to a stud muffin and a mother to 3 crazy boys! ( 4,2, and 6 months). I started to fall in love with Instagram after finding @girlswhopowerlift and doing my first @bodybuildingcom challenge.Β  I'm uber competitive so I'm blessed that I found these communities to belong to, even if I never actually meet people in real life! I was soooo sore last night, I didn't even set my alarm for the gym this morning. I was on the struggle bus. My brain wouldn't allow me to skip. It was one of those "fall back into the toilet" kinda days. I'm sore as shit from squats yesterday and worked on my feet all day. Hubby suggested Insanity and I didn't pass it up. Even though every bone and muscle in muy body wanted to say NO! Completed (not as intense as I would have liked). But I'll NEVER regret a workout.
