Congratulations to Limitless Athlete @powerliftingmama85 for crushing PRs at the USA Powerlifting Limitless Open this weekend under a year post partum! Way to go mama! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ #Repost @powerliftingmama85 (@get_repost) ・・・ Been working on building strength and not worrying about weight/fat loss. At less than a year post partum I was able to crush a few life long goals. I didn't hit all my meet goals this time around but I KNOW I will next time I hit the platform. Ended with 226 squat, 126 bench and 249 deadlift. (Goals were 237, 137, and 270... they were attempted and missed). I will be hitting these numbers before my 33rd birthday next month! Shout out to Chad Lorrigan for squatting and deadlifting with me on Wednesday nights. It was great to see and hear all my supporters in the audience! Also, Sara for being my backstage cheerleader and helping me to understand the power of food/carbs ;) Great meet put on at Limitless Elite Gym in Appleton. It's kinda crazy that I could walk around in a singlet at almost 180 pounds and feel confident as hell. Now onto losing 25 pounds of fat while maintaining strength. Been working on building strength and not worrying about weight/fat loss. At less than a year post partum I was able to crush a few life long goals. I didn't hit all my meet goals this time around but I KNOW I will next time I hit the platform. Ended with 226 squat, 126 bench and 249 deadlift. HELP! I currently have no tattoos. I would like to get 1 in memory of my dad. He was into weightlifting/ powerlifting since before I was born. I think I am about 99% great at the comparing game. I look at how far I've gotten with my lifting at 10 months postpartum and I'm freaking ecstatic. But occasionally someone posts "back into my bikini at 2 weeks post partum". Then I have a setback. I still HAVE too wear maternity pants everyday. I told myself at this point in life I'd never buy expensive workout clothes. To me, $40 for a pair of leggings is super expensive. Today my outfit is ridiculous. Top was $2 after coupon and has cute open back, cute strappy back bra was $1 after coupon, pants $10.88 at Wal-Mart and my shoes (non running) were $9.88 ast Wal-Mart. Boom. I'm still able to crush a workout without Lululemons. Monday night thoughts... Direct marketing. It seems like someone is always selling something. True. Many think it's annoying and I was one of those people. I read a statement that changed my mindset a bit. Something along the lines of " The opinions of others don't pay my bills or pay off my debt ". That resonated with me. It's kind of crazy, I really don't care about what people think of my actions (I stay legal, moral and ethical of course ;) ) Today I recorded my entire leg day workout in the gym. There was like 16 guys lifting in there. Last year me would have never done that! Now, my thought process is "who cares?". I enjoy making lifting videos so I am going to continue to do it. Also, with my business mind, how genius is direct marketing from a corporate standpoint? You don't have to pay your employees until they actually make a sale. Your employees do all the recruiting and you get free daily advertising through the social media channel. I am a big believer in, ' if something annoys you, stop doing it'. I have unfollowed many and it is very easy just to scroll past something on Facebook that you are not interested in. I am at peace, I am free. Shout out to coach @sarajeanbikiniqueen ! She's been coaching me through this whole tracking macros thing. It's crazy what happens when you have a good relationship with food! Low carb, calorie counting, keto are all great but for me, tracking macros is something I can actually maintain for the rest of my life!
