Yes, It is ideal to have meat from sources that are grass-fed, pasture raised, and without the added hormones and grains. This actually allows the meat to provide a different fatty acid ratio that has higher amounts of omega-3s and conjugated linoleic acid, which is one of the few essential fatty acids needed by the body. BUT I also have turkey that is not as "perfect" in quality as I'd like. It does say it's "fresh and natural", but being from Foster Farms and since the term "natural" isn't actually regulated I'm not sure what that truly means. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to eat it. We can't always eat from perfect sources, due to either availability, convenience or money and that's completely ok!
