Here's how we do FAST EASY delic bulk cooking that includes loads of a variety of vegetables. Remember 30 different vegetables each week is the target from the published American gut data.👩‍💻 This recipe needed 2 flat dishes to bake it! It'll be gone in two days in my home. It uses our favorite spice blends on different chicken pieces 👉 it's not boring bc of the variety of flavorings!💕 • 👩‍🍳 ■INGREDIENTS • 12 chicken thighs • 6 carrots, peel and cut into sticks • 3c broccoli florets • 3 c cauliflower florets • 1 medium red onion, sliced into thick strips • 3 or 4 garlic cloves, minced • 2 tsp rosemary • 1-1/2 tsp thyme • 1 tsp sea salt • 1Tbsp EVOO • salt and pepper to sprinkle atop thighs •Pre-blended spice blends like Cajun (see pics) (opt) • ■METHOD 1. Toss all of the vegetables with all of the spices (except for the pepper) and the EVOO. 2. Add the chicken to the top. 3. Sprinkle salt and pepper across all of the thighs. 4. Generously sprinkle other pre-blended seasonings (see slides) to as many thighs as desired. 5. Bake in preheated 400F convection oven (425F conventional oven) for 30 minutes, until internal temperature is 165F. I have heard it so many times since starting my new health program... ‘Why don’t you just eat healthy’ or ‘I get enough fruit and vegetables from my diet’. Well now I have a question for you? Can you honestly tell me that every single day you and your family get the recommended amounts of each serving of fruit and vegetables? We all talk about making healthier choices and we all strive for it, but the truth is it just doesn't happen. Well not consistent every single day because we all like to enjoy ourselves from time to time. I always thought I was eating well. But it’s 2019 and produce is in high demand. The foods we eat are not all organically grown, we eat foods that are out of season, picked weeks before they’re ripened and they simply do not have the nutrients in them that they used to. We need to be picky about our choice of foods. Eat organic where we can or buy from the local farmer's markets and for the best diet and nutrition we possibly can. And to fill in the gaps to make up where the above isn’t achievable, I can’t recommend these amazing whole food capsules enough! They help to bridge the gap between what we should eat and do eat. Yes, I would love to live in a world where everything I needed was only in the foods I ate. But the sad truth is, in this consumer world that won't happen. So I will continue to take the next best thing. In spite of all the hand washing and use of sanitizer I used at Disney, I ended up with a cold this week! Soo I made myself some chicken and veggie 🍲 and I have been drinking LOTS of water and taking my Onguard gelcaps. I made myself a smoothie for breakfast and added doTerra greens along with half of an 🥑. The greens blend has SO many nutrients that my body needs: kale, dandelion greens, spinach, broccoli powder, wheat grass, alfalfa, pineapple, guava, goji berry and mangosteen powder just to name a few of the powders included and it is sweetened with stevia.
