But by fixing the position by bending the back knee more, it moves the bar into a better position, stacked over our knee, hip and shoulder and allows us to use our knees as a shock absorber. In the 4th jerk, I receive it too narrow and am quite wobbly. Rather than rushing to recover, I reset my feet then recover. The last one then shows the optimum position to receive a jerk. We got news on my sweet baby! After MRI/CAT SCAN, he does have spondylosis (lumbrosacral) as suspected BUT it doesn't appear to be effecting his nerves the way it was originally thought. . The surgeon thinks because of the spondylosis making injury more of a risk, he jumped wrong or came down on himself wrong causing the pain and injury he has now. . He says two weeks in the kennel/limited movement, he should have his mobility back. . IF after all of this he doesn't get his full mobility back then there is nerve damage but that is inoperable. . Back on my search for the most impressive training lifts ever. @klokovd with a deficit double at 195kg. The reason this is one of the most impressive training lifts of all time is because 1) it's 5kg below the world record 2) it's from a deficit, and 3) HE DID A DOUBLE! After Liz's injury we re-assessed her movement patterns and discovered some imbalances. Primarily, it was a lack of imbalance and activation in her lats, thus because they were not being used properly, caused an overuse injury in her shoulders/front delts. Great job on the hard work and consistency Liz.
