Today... ⠀ *I weighed in at -1.4 lbs and had a regular coffee for breakfast. ⠀ *I did 3.75 miles of walking/jogging intervals. ⠀ *I broke my fast at just under 16 hours with some buffalo dip, pork rinds, cheese, and an Fbomb (which are soooo good!). I’ve fasted 18 hours or more for nine days in a row, even on vaca, but today I’m just feeling really hungry. ⠀ *Aaaaand this is why I just do better with #onemealaday... since eating earlier, I haven’t stopped - spicy almonds, Lily’s chocolate pieces, cheese crisps, protein bar, Halo Top, peanut butter, and on, and on.... 😕 With #omad, I eat enough, feel satisfied, and stop. I have been doing IF intuitively the last couple of weeks instead is adhering to a strict preset schedule. Most days I land in the 16-18 hour IF range. Sometimes I feel a headache coming on and so it’s a14 hour one. So I typically follow IF, today I broke my fast an hour earlier and had some peanuts. I didn’t have time for lunch b/c we got caught up in clinic so I was ravenous when I got home. So my meal is basically the rest of my calories for the day which I’m completely fine with! Water Fast Week 1 Day 6: I am 270.4lbs now and still see my body fat increasing. I am waiting to see how my body fat% reads once I’ve had food and a larger amount of water in my system. I’m hoping for a full gallon tomorrow. Tomorrow is a progress pic day to see what’s happened to my body since the fast started. Unfortunately the original image I posted last week was a mirror pic and the camera hid some fat. Water Fast Week 1 Day 6: I consumed 1.5 liters of water today. I’m definitely feeling very weak but I believe that this is due to lack of water consumption. I spent most of my day running behind my kids and wasn’t really focused on the tying my water in the way I should have. It was definitely rough at some moments because I was feeding them every couple of hours. All the food looked and smelled so good and I just wanted to give in. Started this blog is definitely a life saver because it’s puts me in a “it’s too late to turn back now” mindset. I’ll finally be eating in less than 12 hours and I’m super excited. I got to the gym later today than I normally would because I have my children with me. NY steak strip spinach benedict. it was supposed to be on top of a bagel, no idea how that would have looked with this big steak! hahaha! only bummer was the eggs were over cooked (like where’s the rest of my eggs?!)! asked them to sub out the hash browns for half an avocado, just didn’t get it in time for it to make it in the picture! for a steak and egg place...i was disappointed, but the picture makes it look like it was delicious!

I’m sort of doing a meat-based keto lately as that’s what my body prefers. If I have too many plants I get extremely unwell. I have some avocado here and there and also chard etc etc but mostly I want to focus on meat. I seem to be super intolerant to dairy still so I will continue to avoid it mostly but sometimes (like today) I will have butter and full fat flat whites! I don’t really want to restrict myself as a rule so I’m going to try and be really mindful of what I eat every time I do. #keto #intermittentfasting #omad #carnivore
