S A T U R D A Y S W E A T 💦 It’s #SaturdaySweat time! Today’s workout focuses on Arms, Chest and Core and you need nothing but some space and about 20 minutes depending on your fitness level! First time I tried Reformer Pilates I walked in thinking I had this in the bag. I’m fit, I’m gonna nail this! I mean, it looks so “easy”!!! Hah, who was I kidding... an hour later I literally crawled out with my tail between my legs , and was sore for DAAAAYS!!! And that is what made me fall in love with it. I just couldn’t commit to do just pilates, as when it comes to fitness - I like to keep my options open 😏 I love to do different things, to keep my body guessing, and in general, keep fit in a fun and interesting way. However, being able to go to Pilates once a week, yoga once a week, gym for my heavy lifts and F45 for the group training and epic sweat sessions just wasn’t financially viable 🤷🏼‍♀️ until now....😏 @classpassausnz is FINALLY at the Gold Coast which means I can now train at over 50 studios / gyms around the GC* under ONE membership! (Excluding F45 -I now work for them so that’s how I solved that problem 💁🏼‍♀️) ((*and around the world if I’m not incorrect!?)) I can now have my cake, AND eat it too !!! Totally not a sales pitch, as I have nothing to do with ClassPass, I’m just sharing the knowledge, and the love for those who has the same indecisive “I want to do it all but can’t afford it” struggles. I’m about to finish up a month of a free trial they are offering here on the GC and I am SO signing up! I’ve tried 3 new yoga studios, one pilates studio (@thepilatespad - this pic 🤤) and a gym, and I still have another week and a few classes / credits to go so yeah - sold 🙋🏼‍♀️ . PS. Only took me 36hrs to post this and I have such a backlog of posts to post which I really want to post cause I want to share kinda posts, but I just don’t. Have. The. Time! This week I’ve pretty much maintained... not going to really celebrate a 1/4lb loss 😂 However this week (despite everyone probably thinking I’ve gone awol!) it’s been about balance. I’ve been to 2 funerals this week, I’ve had a slight breakdown mid week and had no routine... so to of stayed balanced, and doing as much damage control as possible even with meals out... I’m proud of this! 👌🏼 Next week I’m aiming to be looking at being at a half a stone loss! Sapete anche quanto conti per la sottoscritta affidarsi sempre a qualcuno che sia veramente esperto, soprattutto durante e dopo una gravidanza, dal momento che dopo il parto il corpo di una donna può impiegare fino a 3 anni per tornare "esattamente" come prima. Non è tanto una questione di forma fisica, più di fisiologia. Addominali e pavimento pelvico hanno subito un bello stress e io sono decisa a recuperarli nel migliore dei modi e in tempi molto più veloci di 3 anni :D!! Per recuperare al meglio, nonostante io sia una Personal Trainer, ho deciso di affidarmi alla professionalità di @mamma_sportiva , la Personal trainer delle mamme, sia perché altamente qualificata (date un’occhiata alle sue credenziali qui https://mammasportiva.it/contatti/chi-e-mamma-sportiva/) sia perché le mie competenze al momento non mi permettevano di elaborare da sola un piano di allenamento personalizzato. 🥰 W I P 🥰 post-partum daily routines include walking and abdominal breathing exercises to re-build myself from the inside for 3 months before I get back to the gym and do what I do best. For now, self love patience and lots of internal focus. 14 Months Postpartum. 23 months ago I found out I was pregnant. These past almost 2 years have truly change me. They have changed my mind, my body, and my spirit. Some days I find it hard to believe I once considered myself sexy, but I remember being pregnant and feeling the sexiest I had ever been. I was truly a woman of the world, growing a fucking human baby inside of my body! I was the holy mother womb. 14 months have passed since I felt that way. I have good days, and I have bad days now. My body is so different from before I was pregnant. My breasts are completely uneven. My bellybutton has turned into a deep crater, compared to what it once was. My hips are wider. My eyes are blurrier. My hair is grayer. But I have noticed that my arms are stronger. My legs are faster. My feet are sturdier. At least I don't pee when I laugh or sneeze anymore! (Do your kegels.) I am on a mission now. I want my sexuality back. I want to feel like a woman again, not just a mom. Don't get me wrong, being a mom is my all time favorite job. I wouldn't change or trade my life for anything. But I'd like to feel more confident, like I used to. I want to be the mom that teaches her daughter body confidence. I want sexuality to not be taboo in my household. Never again will I say something negative about my body. We are all sexual beings and deserve to feel good in our own skin. POSTPARTUM RESULTS UPDATE: 4 Months postpartum today and the results just keep getting better! Still have a ways to go but I’m damn proud of myself!💃 Dropping stubborn body fat and seeing more muscle definition poking through 💪🏼 Even the little fat roll on my back has almost disappeared! (Probably the single best reason anyone gives to not workout 😳) •it was a half day for kiddos today but i had a training to attend after they went home •i had a birthday party after work (yep, i ate the King Cake 😃 and had jambalaya 😃) •i had to nurse my little one •I’m exhausted . . See, i have the same excuses that most everyone has but the difference is i have a group of people posting their completed workouts and sweaty selfies so it pushed me to get it done! Besides it was only 20 minutes!!! . . I made a commitment to myself that i would give it my all, and i am, because I deserve it!! . . You commit to things every single day! For those of you who don’t know me, hi! I am Chelsa. I am a Mama of two littles, and a fiancé of one. My family is my greatest & most important part of my life. Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed about the day I would become a Mom. As a lot of you know, Mom life is a busy one! After having two babies in the span of 15 months, I am ready to commit back to a healthy, happy lifestyle for both myself and my family. I am currently at home on Maternity Leave, but while working full time, I am part of a Corporate HR Strategy Department for a large oil & gas company in Kamloops, BC. Living a healthy lifestyle has always been important to me, and with the start of a new year, I thought this would be the perfect time to get back on track and set some goals for myself, and really start choosing to set some time aside for ‘me’ every once in a while (it’s something I really am not good at, and have committed to try hard to work on!). My kind-hearted son, Ashton, was born in June of 2017 and my beautiful daughter, Aayla, was just recently born in September of 2018. So yes... in the last 2 years, I have been pregnant for a total of 15 months! Not much time in between my pregnancies for my body to recover; and am now just at the 4 month postpartum mark after having my daughter. I am ready to continue back on the journey of health & wellness and look forward to sharing the journey and watching you do the same!

Ok so! On the menu tonight! @ww_aunz sweet potato zoodles with creamy mushrooms and spinach.. I added chicken tenderloins. I get so many queries on how to get rid of or avoid strech marks. Its the little scars which appear on ur skin when it expands. It basically happens to anyone. . So, SAVE THE POST for future reference. . The best things to that works are down below. 🌸 Since your skin is expanding the only thing it needs is a good elasticity so make sure you are deeply nourishing that area. I applied a huge amount of coconut oil on my belly during pregnancy day n night. And results you can see for yourself. 🌸 Coconut oil not only provides elasticity but also lightens the little scar that is appearing and heal your skin too. So this can be applied after delivery as well. But it will have less effect after marks have appeared. Having said that it will lighten the marks if applied for a long time. 🌸 Another thing is to apply pure aleovera and apple cider vinegar. This has proved to reduce the appearance of marks. . Although genes play a vital role in it but the best answer for this is coconut oil which have helped me a lot and am very happy with the results. The first two pictures are from two weeks ago at #4weekspostpartum and the last three were right before I popped at around #40weekspregnant I stayed fairly small this pregnancy (not that I was necessarily trying to stay small.. just fit-ish)🤰🏼 up until the last three or four weeks and I got pretty big. 🔸 12 weeks post C-Section 🔸 (Essay Alert) I was shit scared to have a Caesarean, in my own mind I was set on a natural delivery, although I did acknowledge and accept that the situation may arise where a caesarean would be necessary, AND IT DID. 🔹 I was scared my recovery would be protracted 🔹 I was scared I wouldn’t be able to attain my pre-baby body 🔹 I was scared I wouldn’t be able to participate in my pre-baby activities 🔹 I was scared it would effect my ability to breastfeed 🔹 I was scared it would have a negative impact on my bond with my baby and his entrance to the world 🔹 I was scared of being cut open! Did any of these thoughts come to fruition? NO! I’m now 12 weeks postpartum and yes, I have a scar, BUT: 🔸 I am Recovering with ease and feel stronger and more capable than pre-pregnancy 🔸 I am back to pre-baby weight and my pre-pregnancy clothes are almost too big! 🔸 I’m back in the gym, climbing, handstanding and having a blast! 🔸 Oliver is exclusively breastfed and we will continue that journey as long as possible! 🔸 @d_a_marion any myself both have an amazing bond with our little man and the birth itself was a positive experience with a very positive outcome ❤️ 🔸 being cut open was still scary, but I had David holding my hand the entire time and the end product was totally worth it 🙌🏼 My expectations were totally off, the reality is if you put in the hard work, the hard work is rewarded. I trained until the day before Ollie was born and eased back into it within a few weeks after. I have an amazing support network and a super kid friendly gym that make this easier. I am positive and realistic with my progress, listening to my body every step of the way and being pleasantly surprised with what I am capable of. Well, my blue dot streak is over for now! I used some weeklies to have a camp “in” and make s’mores in our fireplace. I’m not upset though! I went 17 days!!! I snapped this picture while in Hawaii and I have taken my time to post it. Why? Because when I looked at this picture I felt sad because I no longer see my belly that once carried my twins! It made me sad for a while but I have processed that pain for today and see the proud mama looking back at me in the mirror. I too have days of self-doubt, negative thoughts, and pure laziness. However, I have promised myself to manage those feelings and not allow them to rule over my world. With daily accountability, devotions, support, and the promise I made to myself I have shown up for me. Boy does it feel good!! I’ve been putting off posting on here because I don’t have the time for pretty, perfect images (who am I kidding - my photos were never like that anyway 😜) and interaction on my page has been shit! But the reason I started this page was for accountability, not likes and comments. So I’m going back to basics. This morning I went back to the gym after about 9 weeks off to have my baby.
