In a world where most everything is or can be recorded, one’s word has become more and more insufficient. This is true particularly of women and minorities, whose memories and “words” are often subject to heightened scrutiny and demands of corroborating evidence, and whose histories often haven’t been preserve within the mainline canon. See, for instance, everything from the Anita Hill to the Kavanaugh hearings, where women’s memories were found insufficient or unreliable, or the shootings leading to the #blacklivesmatter movement, where often even video evidence wasn’t enough to overcome the deficit baseline from which Black memory and the Black word began. \\\//// This isn’t new; the defense attorneys at Nuremberg insisted on heightened evidence of genocide, of additional eye-witness accounts, as if the very nature of a gas chamber wasn’t to preclude the eye witness. 🌈 This is what the beginning of our horse training sessions look like 😁 . 💚It may seem completely weird but we all have such crazy, busy lives that it can be hard to be really present when we’re working with our horses. We start our sessions with a little movement, pranayama or breath work to bring ourselves into the here and now and put the monkey brain to the side. ☀️ . 🦄When we become present with our equines we see a whole new world opening before our eyes, our horses are communicating with us and we are connecting with them. We then use that to train and shape behaviours. 🐴 . ⭐️I was once working with a horse that swept his head around to his side and I scratched it. I cannot describe the look that horse gave me, one of complete and utter shock as if saying ‘holy * #%+ did you just hear me?!?!’ 😁 . 💕This is what we strive for, these relationships, not the goals. Through having that connection we can ask for a little more and then a little more and then you have a horse performing a behaviour without coercion and with motivation. Happy days 🤩 .

Just like a muscle. You have 2 feel scared to know you are safe. You have 2 feel like nothing 2 know you are of extreme value. You have to know loss to know what you have. You have to feel unworthy to know your true worth. You have to feel alone and completely lonely to know you always have your self. You have to feel unloved to know you are love(d). I dont want 2 disregard challenging times and emotions. It's not beneficial to do so. There is so much color in emotions, hardships, and struggle. Instead of listing all of the external obstacles, just bring your focus to you. What could you have done differently? How did your emotional state fuel or burn what was at hand? Were your intentions clear? Did you make time to prepare? Were you well rested? Thread the needle on this and get into it… that’s where the learning is. When you take time to integrate your insights on a deeply personal level – filling in the spaces that were once hollow, your understanding deepens. You get better. You get more powerful, more potent. C'est incroyable comment la plupart d'entre nous vie leur vie en étant tendus, stressés... comment des fois le lâcher-prise est quelque chose d'inimaginable ... des fois on n'arrive même plus à se détendre quand on est au lit le soir ... notre mental continue à courir dans tous les sens ! Apprendre à se détendre est aujourd'hui un de défis les plus importants.. Et malheureusement un des plus durs ! Et si ce soir on prenait 5 minutes pour nous? Avete mai provato a sedervi a gambe incrociate, o come più siete comodi e a respirare? Magari dopo una giornata pesante o se qualcosa vi ha fatto arrabbiare? Provatevi: chiudete gli occhi, mettete le mani in grembo una sull'altra e iniziate con una inspirazione e contate fino a 4, poi espirate, sempre contando fino a 4 e poi ancora inspirate fino a 5 ed espirate facendo durare l'espirazione fino a 5 e continuate per qualche minuto con queste espirazioni uguali alle inspirazioni. Non trattenete il respiro, fate diventare fluente l'esercizio di Pranayama. Alla fine dell'esercizio, provate a concentare la vostra attenzione su un punto lontano, nel prato o nella strada, oltre la vostra abitazione e rimanete là per alcuni minuti senza pensare a nient'altro. A me piace tantissimo e mi rilassa molto! Anche durante la pratica è importante sincronizzare il respiro con il movimento, inspirazioni ed espirazioni, anche quando sto facendo posizioni difficili e devo tenerle per alcuni minuti è fondamentale continuare a respirare. #pranayama #respirare #respiroyoga #meditazione #meditation #breathing #igersyoga

"What is our REALITY in this VIRTUAL world?" . It has become fairly easy to portray oneself as we like in this virtual world. Men pretending to be women, and vice versa is a old story. But what I want to highlight is the kind of person one is. . Social media is a source of constant information. People's stories, the lifestyle they lead, the kind of human being they are, etc. However, I often wonder, how to know how much truth lies in those stories? Are people actually exactly what they show themselves to be here? . We've always been taught to not believe everything we hear. A lot of times what we see also, isn't the whole truth. The truth can be altered to suit one's needs. Information can be carefully hidden to keep one's own shortcomings from coming out. Stories can be moulded to make the world believe what one wants. . Why is this toxic? Because it gives the audience of these stories unrealistic expectations from their own lives, makes them believe what we see on our screens is the WHOLE truth, which is almost never the case. . Another way it is toxic is it gives the creators of these stories an alternate reality to escape into, where they don't have to deal with their mistakes, accept their flaws and work on them. It makes them believe that what they put on their "profiles" is what they truly are. . This is a great platform to get inspired, expand your working horizon, and what not. But this is one side of the coin. Don't allow yourself to drown in the shine and glitter you see and the words you read. Nobody is showing you their failures, their own mistakes and struggles. Il Piccolo Yoga 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦🧸 Sciogli la tua schiena con Adho Mukha Svanasana 🐶 la posizione del cane a testa in giù. . . ⚜️ Mettiti a quattro zampe sul tappetino, con le ginocchia parallele e larghe quanto le tue anche e le mani leggermente più avanti delle spalle ⚜️ Allarga le dita delle mani e appoggia le punte dei piedi a terra ⚜️ Espira e solleva le ginocchia da terra portando il sedere verso l’alto, come se un filo ti tirasse verso il soffitto ⚜️ All'inizio puoi tenere le ginocchia piegate e i talloni sollevati da terra se non riesci subito a stendere le ginocchia ⚜️ Espira e allunga i talloni verso terra, fino a toccare il tappetino, e raddrizza le ginocchia ⚜️ Raddrizza bene le braccia e premi a terra i palmi delle mani ⚜️ Apri le spalle e allontanale dalle orecchie, avvicina tra loro le scapole e tieni la schiena ben dritta, mentre la testa sta tra le braccia, allineata con la colonna vertebrale ⚜️ Mantieni questa posizione per qualche respiro e, per uscire, espirando, piega le ginocchia e torna a quattro zampe a terra. . . Recipe from this morning’s beach 🧘‍♂️ practice: 6 am and the 🌙 was still shinning bright .... the beautiful curve of sand looked much smaller as the 🏝 was completely empty ... So we began...One 💧of 🌱doTerra Breathe respiratory blend into the palms of our hands... rubbed hands together and brought them close to our face, inhaled deep as though smelling the scent of a 🌸 ...Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (alternate nostril breathing)... Asana practice... 5 Surya A and 5 Surya B...rubbed one 💧 of 🌱doTERRA Balance grounding blend essential oil into palm of hands, chest and back of neck...Took some deep, deep breaths... The 🌞 came out and the sky was painted with all shades of orange.. The practice continued...
