🌟🌟REALTALK!!🌟🌟 . . What is the difference between failure and success? Something very small - consistency! πŸ™‹πŸ» . . If you want something to change, you want to grow, you want rock hard abs or to run your own business ...dude - you just have to SHOW UP! πŸ‘ŠπŸ» . . The catch? You have to show up EVERY DAY...not just when you feel like it, not when the time is "right", not when it's comfortable or easy or when everyone is cheering you on! You have to show up over and over and over again no matter what, and eventually you WILL get to where you want to be. ✌🏻 . . This photo is an example of this for me..and you are probably thinking what does this sweaty unkempt #selfie have to do with this? Well you may not notice it, it's very small really BUT that mild definition on my shoulders has been a year in the making (yes a whole year...I have naturally teeny shoulders)!! I got here by showing up, even on the days where I didn't think I could do one more push up or plank, and all I wanted to do was eat pizza and sleep...but I didnt give in, and I got there! πŸ’•Happiness is...the feeling you get when you realise you don't let your excuses get in the way of your goals anymore! πŸ‘ŠπŸ» .. I started this journey embarrassed 😳 by where I was and trying to hide the fact that I was trying to help myself be better because WHAT would I do if I failed?...and what would people THINK?!😢 .. That fear was almost PARALYSING.. and not a nice place to be. Slowly I realised what I fear other people think and the fear of failure shouldn't get in the way of my goals and dreams. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ .. It was only when I was able to move passed this was I able to move FORWARD all the while not letting myself get stuck in the what ifs and negative thoughts!πŸ™…πŸ» .. Honestly I didn't realise how much my face has been changing through this process (or that it carries weight to the extent it had been!) on the left is a #selfie taken in April 2016, on the right is one I took a couple of weeks ago..I've been committed to myself and bettering myself physically and mentally since January and I can't believe what I've achieved in 9 months..27lb down and over 5inches gone from my waist (which btw was the only borderline healthy measurement I used to have..) and I have started focusing on my internal dialogue big time and it's been SO tough - but I have to re-wire some thinking because that inner mean girl is a total B and will be the ONLY reason I'd fail so time to shut her down!πŸ™…πŸ» .. .. Today I'm going adventuring! When I woke up I began trying on bathing suits and cover ups, I started with an old favorite, my gorgeous black one piece. In the midst of all the craziness in life, I think it's easy to truly stop living. Just going with the motions of our day, not really doing anything we love or taking time to love what we do. Sometimes you have to take a step back and evaluate everything. Learn how to do what makes you happy again, and remember to cherish the moment and live for them πŸ’•. I'm living happy because today I'm able to enjoy the fact that I traded out that 9-5 to be able to wake up early and go on walks with my littles. Workout move of the night: 1 Arm row! Each arm: 10 reps for 3 rounds, with a 10 second hold in between rounds. Stretch it out afterwards. Its important to keep a flat back, knees/ elbows bent, and shoulders/hips squared πŸ’ͺbringing that #sexyback

I am feeling SO good today and the reason is pretty simple.. yes I got my workout in and stuck to my nutrition plan today (yayπŸ€—) BUT a friend of mine recently said not to let anyone dull your shine and it really resonated with me. We should always be proud of ourselves, our capabilities and who we are, but sometimes we let doubt creep in and let the comparison game take control! Happy Humpday, cuties! We are half way through the week and since the only BS I need in my life is breakfast and squats, I'd say I'm a pretty happy camper right about now. This oatmeal here? It's life. And I'm going to share the recipe with you before I hit the gym here. . 1/3 C gluten free rolled oats. . 2/3 C unsweetened almond milk . 1 medium RIPE banana, mashed. . 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder . 1 Tbsp natural peanut butter (melted preferably) . 1 Tbsp dark chocolate chunks or chips (dairy free) . Directions: combine oats, milk, banana, and cocoa powder in a small sauce pan. Simmer until liquid is evaporated and oats are tender. Top with peanut butter and chocolate and eat the crap out of the whole entire bowl. And then cry because of its deliciousness.

Long weekends soothe my soul! πŸ’• .. .. #realtalk If I am being 100% real I've had a shaky couple of months where I felt anxiety was trying to take control and impacting my life in ways that I could tangibly see so I had to regroup and try help myself. I didn't think by taking on a new fitness plan that it would be the thing to help me tbh I just wanted to get my fitness on track again so it was one less thing to feel overwhelmed about. BUT I was so wrong if nothing else I feel more at peace in myself because of the community I found, the workouts were fun and I can actually get onboard with the food plans - and it's been totally unexpected!πŸ¦„ .. .. So now I have signed up as a wellness coach with this badass community of strong and incredible women!!!πŸ”₯ .. .. WHY? because of how much strength and happiness it has brought to me which I want to shout about from the rooftops and share with others, the fact I LOVE helping people and naturally love being people's cheerleader because I KNOW we are all capable of amazing things and sometimes when we can't see it we need someone to give us that little boost and reminder! πŸ‘©β€β€οΈβ€πŸ‘© .. ..
