Dedication * To get the body you want you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone and be dedicated! You have to stay dedicated to your eating and working out. This past week has been rough on me to stay dedicated. My mind is still wrapped around vacation, I'm tired and getting back into my routine. But that doesn't stop I'm still in the gym pushing myself I'm still meal prepping I'm still taking care of my body how I should. Why?? The DOMs have been rough this week. My legs are sore AF. Had to take today off so I could recover. The past 2 days I’ve upped my calories and tried to get more sleep. Recovery 101. Can’t grow if you don’t eat and sleep enough . . . Here’s a few of the extra meals I added. Also had my usual meals (eggs, chicken, veggies.. etc.). Both mornings I woke at at the same weight. So no weight gain or extra water weight. I guess u can say I know my body pretty well . . . Today was refeed day 3500 cals, 550-600 grams carbs 150-175 protein 45 fat You should refeed at least once a week when dieting, well it depends on your plan, but in my current plan that is the case, and it’s all very calculated, altered the recipes to keep fat down which is tough because of oil/butter for pancakes and the cheese for the pizza — PRO TIP: Use Trader Joes almond mozzarella cheese alternative, the lowest fat cheese that doesn’t taste like that vegan diarrhea flavored nonsense💩🧀. -also use a no fat pizza sauce — For the pancakes use a fresh egg white and ditch the yolk, it’s a sin to ditch yokes but on refeed day with such high carbs your insulin will be high all day so any fats you take in are prone to being stored as fat -also used .5 tbsp of oil instead of the recommended 2 tbsp in the recipe -on the pizza those are sundried tomatoes 🍅 but I turned them into oven-burnt tomatoes 🔥 - lastly that pumpkin pasta tho 👌🏽🎃 🍝 Al dente #refeed #refeedday #bodybuildingrecipes #mealplan #nutritionplans #macros #iifym #gains #carbs #carbsforabs #carbsarelife #carbsforthewin #fitfam #bodybuildingmotivation #naturalbodybuilding #physiquecompetitor #physiqueprep #onlinecoaching #fitnessjourney #nutritionblogger #traderjoes #traderjoeshaul #traderjoesfinds #traderjoeslove #traderjoesforthewin #traderjoeslife at Fort Myers Beach, Florida

I get a lot of questions regarding my training split...mostly if I train one body part per day..the answer is no. I personally do not want to destroy one muscle enough that it takes me a week in order to train it again. I try to hit each body part 2-3 times per week in 3 to 4 days..rest and just run the other 3 days. Picking usually 2 to 3 exercises each day and focusing on my weak points...and I have a ton of those. I go as heavy as I can and perform 5 sets of each exercise reps of 15/12/10/10/8 or drop sets which is what was done for rows this evening. Anyway y'all continue to work hard...and do it from the heat. One of my favorite homemade treats I use in every weekend's refeed that @dot_anne taught me. The amounts of everything change based on if I need more or less carbs, but for this I used 1.5 scoops protein powder, 1/3 cup oat bran, 1/4 cup almond meal, and 1.5 tablespoons each peanut butter and almond butter. Mix all that in a bowl with a whisk using water or almond milk - microwaving the 3 tbsp butters before adding them makes it much easier. Use as little liquid as possible so the mixture stays thick. Use a lever scooper to make balls of the mixture then roll them in your palms for shape. Let them freeze for 15 - 20 minutes, then store in the fridge until ready to eat. I use chocolate fudge brownie and peanut butter cup custom mix True Nutrition protein powders and dip them in sugar-free chocolate syrup.
