The RR offers a wide array of benefits for core stability, back strength, and total body fitness. This versatile movement can also be combined with other bodyweight staples, in this case I add in the push up and burpee to offer a high intensity, total body movement to increase metabolic activity, caloric expenditure, and increase my fitness. - Adding them into one metabolic movement is not only only a crazy good idea for increased efficiency in a workout, it can also offer increased metabolic activity, core strength, and total body stamina. - I think my favorite benefit is increasing my metabolic activity: When trying to lose body fat, burn calories, or simply increase your body’s ability to be a metabolic furnace, choosing high intensity movements that involve large muscle groups at once is the goal. Movements like sprinting, sporting activities, and Olympic lifts are just a few movements that fall into this category. The renegade row with push up/burpee is about as complex and all inclusive as a movement can get. It taxes the core, legs, back, arms, shoulders, and heart, creating a metabolic effect that can leave you burning calories and increasing fitness long after the session. Today's deadlift routine was stolen from @clapper_fit who got it from @k.brooke77 I changed it up a little instead of 5x5s and 200 meter row I did 1x10 #135 1x8 #225 1x6 #315 1x4 #405 1x2 #495 3x1 #550 (2 shown) After every set was a 200 meter row, and after the 550 i pyramid back down same weight and reps. the only break I took was walking from deadlift to row machine and changing my weights! Been hitting numbers even especially on the Flat Dumbbell Press 40’s kg x 9, 45’s kg x 5 (Two assisted). Hack Squats as well 4x10 w/140kg, Really please how my progress is going well. Hello All. Despite waking up feeling some type of way that I can not explain why and feeling like shit was all the more reason to hit these weights first thing today because this is therapy. Rather than unleashing on the world around I unleash in the gym it helps so much. Today was over head press day which is definitely one of my weaker lifts due to left shoulder injury. My shoulder has been getting better and stronger, so when it's time to test for PRs after I complete this program I'm very confident to break past the current numbers. Hope everybody has a great day
