Fired π₯ up Friday! Happy Friday! This should have been a THROWBACK photo because this was when I was pregnant with my baby girl last year π€° Incredible what the span of a year can bring. π₯ Why fired up? While it is incredibly painful when certain chapters of your life come to a close, such as a marriage. We have to learn to look at our lives, each experience, each heartache as a pathway for expansion and growth. We can decide to let heartache break us or look at it learn from it, & challenge ourselves to ask how can I grow from this. How can I create expansion from this? π₯ As I have shared in my blog link β¬οΈ above I want to break the generational curse for the women in our family! I want for my daughter to experience the joy & happiness of a marriage. My hope is to teach her the things, that the women in my family were unable to teach cause they didn't have the knowledge. They are not to blame. It was a different time & there was only survival mode - I don't think many men of old Asian culture understood or were ever taught on how to love & treat women. π₯ I hope to take my experience and have conversations with my daughter about relationships, about choosing a partner based on values. I hope to help guide her so she can navigate the waters of always being mindful of keeping her dignity, sense of self worth & values as the measuring stick for a man/husband to measure up to. π₯ So while I thought my pregnancy with her was going to break my spirit (read previous post) little did I know that I needed her to come into my life. That I NEEDED her to come into my life so I could truly become who I should have been; who I AM. So you see often times when we think why is this happening to me, little do we know that it is God, the Universe, delivering us into the life that is meant for us. π₯ This fired π₯ up Friday let that fire π₯ burn bright π₯π₯π₯ & know that you already have the power within you. Stay faithful & don't let anything break your spirit.
