Give decline push ups a go, only if you feel you have mastered regular push ups first. The decline push up primarily works the upper pectoral muscles, while providing a secondary workout to the lower pecs. With a regular push up you lift about 70% off your own bodyweight. When you place your feet high as in decline push up, you actually push up even more of your own weight. Z Press - Shoulder Strength ------- One thing I love about my new job is the ability to learn from @strengthcoachtherapy. Some things I learn involve strength training and how it can be adaptable for physical therapy treatments. ------ Some people have low back pain with overhead pressing due to the increase in overhead load with increased lumbar lordosis. I learned this variation of a overhead press which is good way of accommodating these patients. This version of the overhead press essentially doesn't allow for an anterior pelvic tilt and keeps the spine in neutral. When performing this, try to keep your knees pressed down towards the ground. at Healthy Baller
