I wish I knew who painted this. . I would've told him/her 2 things. . 'What a great peace of art. It made me happy and sad at the same time.' . Now, I'm not sure thats a good criteria for determening it's worth. . In fact, im almost positive an art critic would 'piss' all over my criteria. . But who cares. I decided to follow my own. . As they are reflection of my little self in this big universe. . You see i was programed to think like everybody else, speak like everybody else and even to be silent like everybody else. . I was programed to be small so i would question my worth. . And it succeded. . So i would like for you 'unknown artist' to take my pover back. . Cuz as humans we are always expecting for salvation from someone else. #art #painting #mymonkeymind #artist #beautifull #simple #emotional #minimalism #moon #skylovers #universe #wordsofwisdom #wordstoliveby #quote #wednesdayquotes #instaquotes #instapoetry #instagoods #mindfullness

. . . #spain #barcelona #skyview #skyline #skyporn #skylovers #skyviewers #architecturephotography #architecturelovers #architecture #followme #topbarcelonaphoto #photography #skynbuildings #amazingsky #crazysky #topeuropephoto #visionofpictures #travelblogger #facade #travelphotography #texture #architecturestudent #shotoniphone #blue #larocasecae #beautifuldestination #earthescope #myproshot #bestplace at La Pedrera-Casa Milà

The Colosseum in Rome: Receives millions of visitors every year. It was built to seat over 50,000 people and hosted many events and festivals open to the public. These events sometimes would last an evening or could last up to several months. They included gladiator fights, animal hunts and even miniature naval battles when they would fill the arena with water. Most of the gladiators were slaves or prisoners of war. Sometimes the animal hunts became so extravagant that it eliminated entire species from the area. One particular event in which over 9,000 animals were slaughtered, eliminated the hippopotamus from the Nile River. Despite the brutality of the events held here, attending them was a popular activity among ancient Roman citizens. at Colloseum

Burg Eltz in Germany: This castle is from medieval times, built in 1157. It has been owned by the same family for over 850 years. It has more than 100 rooms and is located along the Rhine River (in addition to only 2 others along the river that haven’t been destroyed).

Glowworm Caves in New Zealand: There are multiple caves in New Zealand where adventurers can come see the glowworm caves. The bioluminescence is a unique and beautiful sight. The worms can choose how much light is given off by their tail by limiting the amount of oxygen supplied to the area. The lights are used to attract insects as prey, to attract mates, and to burn waste. Those that are visiting the caves can tour some caves by foot and touring the caves by boat is a popular option. at New Zealand

Giethoorn, Netherlands: This village is known for its picturesque look and it’s lack of roadways. Nicknamed “The Village with No Roads” and “Dutch Venice”, this quaint little village has water channels where pavement would typically be. The village still has sidewalks so that visitors and residents can tour the area by foot, but the majority of transportation is done by boat. The channels connect to a lake where events are oftentimes held (see slide 3). The village also has music and boating festivals every year. Visitors can stay a number of places, including cottages, campgrounds, and hotels for lodging. The village also has art galleries, souvenir shops, and museums. It also includes a fully functional farm that visitors can tour that is original to the area and is centuries old. The farm has a staff that tells guests how the farm functions and they give insight to what life was like in the area centuries ago. The area is also known for its unique dining experience that offers cuisine made from ingredients only found in the area. Residents can also travel from one place to another by crossing bridges that connect over the waterways (slide 6). In the winter, the charming village is still not an uncommon tourist destination because the ice and snow add to the scenery and activities like ice skating become popular forms of entertainment. at Giethoorn

Nara Dreamland: This amusement park was built in the 1960’s and has since then been abandoned. The park was designed to imitate Disneyland. The location is eerie and is dangerous to enter, but worth it for those that are seeking adventure and want to photograph the park. Entering the park is illegal because it is technically private property, so visitors need to be on the lookout for security guards. Many people have had success without encountering security. Everything in the park was simply abandoned. Even restaurants in the park still have coffee makers in them. Nothing seems to have been taken when the park shut down. It was just left. at Nara Dreamland

It is difficult to get a permit for this and there is a low success rate. Permits can be purchased online or at the visitor center. at The Wave, Arizona
