Truth: the last thing an overworked journalist needs is another generic angle clogging up their inbox. Approach them with a compelling and unique story, and not only are you more likely to capture the attention of the journalist, but you’ll be more likely to gain traction once it’s out there in the world. So how to tone that angle-making muscle so you’re spitting them out left, right, and centre? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When you're unpicking your angles it's helpful to scan the headlines of your fave outlets and ask yourself, “What is in the news today that ties in with what I want to promote?” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Listen to the questions that clients and friends ask you about your business, these may help you find topics that people don't understand or that are sparking curiosity. In a busy world of journalism it's important find your relevance within broader conversations. Think social, political, economic, industry or environmental contexts. You might like to explore key dates, current trends, statistics, recently published research or trending conversations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The ins and outs of angle-making is covered comprehensively in my 8 week Hack Your Own PR program. Join me, and other like-minded small business future friends in February. Want to know more? Book in for a free 30 minute consult via the link in my bio.

Something a little different today. Thought I would share a little about me. I am Rosi. Yep like Rosie but with the E. I am a simple person. Happy on my tod with a cuppa but also love chit chatting to anyone and everyone. I suffer anxiety but handling It well and now care much less what people think. Very creative be it decor, artwork or even events I love it. I don’t make these prints and designs work to make lots of money. I make it for the joy. Any money is a bonus.
