WEEK 0 💙 . So I’ve just started my fat loss / shred phase and if any of you know me in person, you’d know that I’m blooding happy about it! . I’ve spent the last several months eating in a caloric surplus to help build muscle. Particularly in the last month, I was eating over 2500 calories and as a result, I naturally stored some body fat. THIS IS COMPLETELY NORMAL! . Though despite knowing that it’s normal to hold more fat during a muscle growth phase, I did have some struggles as I watched myself get softer and rounder. And every time I had self-doubt, I kept reminding myself of my goals and that I needed to trust the process. . So here I am today at week 0 of my prep for summer. Seems my grip is quite pathetic in high humidity. Lifting this 152.5kg/335.5lbs #deadlift for high volume reps was torture on my grip. The bar kept sliding. It went up though and that is what is most important - at least for me. 3 sets of 4 reps @165kg. Can’t hide the fact iv packed on a bit of hinu and also can’t hide the fact these were like a RPE 10. It’s around 91.5% of current max. Some of these weren’t the prettiest reps although I tried my hardest to maintain good technique, working all week laying floors has taken a toll on me. Finally hit a 90kg/ 198lb #benchpress 🤣🤣 Was meant to be an attempt at a double but I got so excited at getting the one at 90kg I shouted yay!! Then lost my tight setup and failed miserably at my second attempt 🤣🤣 It needs a tidy up but at least I know it’s there 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ As for my dead’s I’ve been really struggling with my setups and technique has gone out the shitter 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈 anyway I’ll keep on keeping on 🙏🏻😊😍

With her very tough and busy schedule she always makes time to do some strength training each week, and it’s always relatively heavy! But as you can see, she’s super lean, fit and healthy and hasn’t got at all bulky from lifting heavy, she’s just gotten STRONG! . When @justine_switalla came to me her deadlift PB was 105kg, here she is easily repping 5sets of 97.5kg x 5reps with plenty to spare! . I have been strength training under the guidance of @onemorerep for a year now, and sometimes it’s hard to see the progress as you’re continually striving to hit PB’s and lift heavier. I train heavy 3-4 times a week and have a deload every 4-6 weeks 👌🏼. . I do F45 on the other days as I like to mix up my training and I like being pushed with the functional training and cardio aspect at @f45_training_hopperscrossing 💦👊🏼. I usually have 1-2 full days of rest per week as well 👌🏼😊. . All in all, I feel the fittest, healthiest, strongest yet most balanced I have felt EVER! . . I have a life outside of training, I feel calm and at peace with who I am, yet the results speak for themselves. . Day 12: Pull strength: This will be like the 1st pull workout but we will increase volume by adding one set per lift. Remember to lift a heavy set of 5. 3 minutes of rest between sets. Push hard today. 1. Bent over barbell rows: 5 sets of 5 reps. 2. Pull-ups: 5 sets of 5 reps. 3. Barbell curls: 5 sets of 5. 4. Barbell shrugs: 5 sets of 5 reps. After today you will take a rest day. Do some cardio of your choice tomorrow. Also hit your core hard if you have not been doing so. We will be kicking it up a notch in a couple days with some hypertrophy shock workouts. Start including some concentric, and eccentric pauses to your lifts. (Demonstrated in 2nd and 3rd video) at Reno, Nevada
