Stretching et préparation du sportif en rééducation! Il est indéniable que l’apparition des étirements et du stretching dans la préparation physique a constitué un progrès capital. Les sportifs ont ainsi appris à mieux s’ intéresser à leurs différents groupes musculaires et à explorer leur mobilité articulaire. Il n’est donc pas question pour nous de remettre en cause l’intérêt des étirements mais de rapporter quelques données scientifiques qui précisent les effets de ces méthodes. En fait ces techniques qui avaient pour objectif principal l’augmentation de l’amplitude articulaire se sont vues progressivement attribuer des vertus quasi universelles allant de leur rôle primordial pour l’échauffement à la prévention des accidents, en passant par la musculation et la récupération. On pouvait même à un moment penser que les étirements dans leurs différentes modalités permettaient de résoudre tous les problèmes de la préparation physique. Nous voulons montrer ici que les connaissances scientifiques actuelles permettent de mieux comprendre ce que peuvent apporter les étirements et ce qu’ils ne peuvent pas faire. Getting to the gym before the sun comes up is something that most people don’t even consider. Yet we all live such busy lives that the excuse of not having time to go at all can be used so easily. I myself would not have time either if it didn’t mean going at this hour. Yet I have learned to love these early morning workouts. Getting my day started by prioritizing myself sets such a positive tone for everything that follows. I challenge you to try to start your day in an energetic way. That doesn’t have to mean going to the gym. It could be going for a walk, stretching, or doing a home workout (shameless plug 😉). Trust me your mindset for the day is so much different if you get moving👏🏻

FITSPO today is @sjanaelise 🧘🏽‍♀️ Do you stretch? It is so key to incorporate into your fitness/health/well-being/self-love routine! & it’s easy to do such. It only takes a couple minutes everyday to practice and improve flexibility. I think most people tend to avoid stretching because let’s face it...... IT’S UNCOMFORTABLE (It kinda hurts/pulls and burns 🥵)!!! With that being said it is entirely possible to gradually gain #flexibility & comfortability within the stretch. Be intuitive when you stretch; flexibility changes day to day & thus your routine should be #modified accordingly. Remember that over stretching can be equally detrimental as under stretching 🙆‍♀️. The best part is you can stretch practically anywhere, anytime! I do find it’s best to set aside time and make it part of your routine(ie. when you wake up, before bed, after the gym, before you walk your dog etc.). The more often you manage to stretch the more quickly you will yield results in not only flexibility but mental control over your body. Pain with pleasure 💪🏼🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏼. Но это далеко не единственная его функция. ⠀ 🔺 «Мостик» служит отличной компенсацией после упражнений на пресс, особенно когда мышцы «забиты». ⠀ 🔺Растягивается и удлиняется прямая мышца живота, ваш пресс не превращается в выступающий валик. ⠀ 🔺Улучшается пищеварение. ⠀ 🔺Вам противопоказаны приседания, но можно делать «мостик»? | T R A I N I N G 1 0 1 | The two most important components of any workout are the warm-up and the cool down. However, these are also often the most neglected components of your workout. The reasoning is simple: awareness. Let me explain: 👇 Before you start exercising, you have a resting heart rate between 60 to 80 BPM. A warm-up is essentially exactly what it is: to warm up the body for the demands that you’re about to impose on it. Now this is where most people get confused. We were always taught to do what we were told in gym class: arm bars, knee hugs, quad stretch, etc. Not that this is necessarily wrong—this is what we like to call static stretching. And static stretching can briefly inhibit the ability to generate power. Say you reach for your toes and hold that position, research has shown you will NOT jump as high or start a sprint forcefully as if you hadn’t stretched. ———— This is why dynamic stretching before your workout is the more preferred method. Why? Because you are requiring a voluntary muscular action to produce a movement. By doing so, you are increasing your heart rate; thus, improved oxygen delivery to working muscles due the Bohr Effect (higher temperatures facilitate the release of oxygen in the blood). Aka the warm-up. ——— For the cool down static stretching is the obvious choice. Why? You need to lower your exercise induced heart rate back to a resting state.
