Follow me for more @orsipilates 😊 A simple and really easy to follow series of abdominal exercises based in plank position.When we did the video with Elle Belgium there idea was that I do 10 or 15 repetition of each exercise so then people can exercise with me from home:)It might look boring like this especially comparing with some fancier yoga videos,but it is worth to see it once. -Of course in each plank based exercise the same applies.Hands in line with the shoulder.Do not drop down the tailbone.Avoid create hyper lordosis. A recent EMG study out of Fresno State compared the muscle activation differences between 6 different core exercises. The purpose was to compare the overall recruitment of the rectus abdominis muscles, external oblique, and rectus femoris (quads) during the traditional abdominal crunch, a plank (traditional and suspended), mountain climber plank (traditional and suspended) and a suspended plank with a knee tuck.⠀ .. Their results indicated that the suspension knee tuck (which is one of the many exercises within Crunchless Core) produced significantly greater overall muscle activity than the other exercise conditions.⠀ .. It was also concluded that for individuals wanting to develop the abdominal musculature, suspension training and all plank variations (traditional and suspended) would be more effective exercises to use than the traditional abdominal crunch.⠀ .. So that burning sensation you feel from doing endless crunches does not deliver the results you want. In fact, it misses your core altogether. It might hit the muscles on the surface but the negatives far outweigh the positives and this research study proves it!⠀ .. Combining the unwanted flexion of your spine with the added limited range of the crunch does nothing to strengthen or shape your rectus abdominal muscles, your transverse abdominals, or your obliques. It might feel like it’s working but EMG testing proves its ineffectiveness.⠀ .. Rectus Abdominis: This is your “6 Pack” - It brings your ribs to your pelvis. Sit ups, knee/leg raises, crunches etc all target this muscle
.
External Obliques: These ones twist your trunk (or stop it from twisting as in the Pallof Press) If your right side is contracting then you twist to your left and vice versa. Sit ups with rotations, wood chops, side planks etc. all work this muscle
.
Internal Obliques: Basically the same as the external obliques but they twist in the same direction as the side that is contacting
.
Last but not least: Transversus Abdominis: This muscle really does a ton of stabilization. If you’re weak here, your Squats and Deadlifts are going to suffer. Planks and hollow body holds/rocks are great for keeping this muscle strong.

Need an upgrade from your traditional plank? - Try shoulder taps! - Shoulder taps are a great progression from traditional planks and will add some shoulder work in there as well. - To perform correctly, follow these tips. - 1️⃣-To start, keep your shoulders, elbows, and wrists all in line. 2️⃣ - keep your hips high (not sagging down), and squeeze your glutes and stomach to help stabilize. 3️⃣- Raise one arm to your opposite shoulder in a nice, controlled fashion. 4️⃣- keep the rocking of your hips to a minimum since we want the focus of this exercise on your core. - Perform back and forth for 16-20 reps (8-10 each side). SWIPE ⏭ AB WORK (SAVE this one 🔥) . If you been trying to get your abs poppin’ this you need to throw this in your routine. The smith machine basically forces you to keep your posture upright targeting abs & lower back. You can’t cheat only clean quality reps. This is advanced you don’t need much weight at all I had 10lbs on each side & did 4 sets of 8. . Leave it to the calisthenics athlete to “misuse” the gym equipment. Incorporating some moves like this into your weekly routine can help increase your core strength and help you progress in other lifts. ✅ . Она улучшает циркуляцию крови в мышцах и тканях, делает их более эластичными. Признак хорошей разминки — вы вспотели, но не устали. 10–20 минут разогревайтесь в спокойном темпе. Выберите один из вариантов: • бег; • велотренажёр; • прыжки через скакалку; • тренажёр, имитирующий ходьбу по лестнице; • эллиптический или гребной тренажёр; • jumping jacks и прочие кардиоупражнения с весом своего тела; • один или два упражнения с лёгкими весами. В конце разминки сделайте складку на пресс и гиперэкстензию. Оба упражнения нужны для усиления мышц кора. Они помогут вам держать спину ровно, сохранять равновесие во время силовых упражнений и избежать травм. Складка на пресс: Лягте на пол, согните колени, руки уберите за голову. Важно, чтобы вы не давили на голову руками, а лишь слегка касались её пальцами. При этом локти всегда должны быть развёрнуты в стороны. Подложите под поясницу свёрнутое полотенце или абмат. Так вы поддержите естественный прогиб позвоночника и увеличите нагрузку на мышцы пресса. Выполните 3 подхода по 15 повторений. Если вы можете выполнить 15 повторений без остановки, усложните упражнение. Выпрямите руки над головой и соедините ладони. Или выполняйте складку с весом: с блином или медболом над головой. Гиперэкстензия: Это упражнение поможет укрепить разгибатели спины и активировать ягодичные мышцы. Последнее особенно важно для тех, кто много сидит на работе. Поднимайтесь до параллели с полом или выше. Напрягайте ягодицы во время подъёма, руки держите за головой, не сводите локти. Выполните 3 подхода по 20 повторений. Только не забудьте отрегулировать тренажёр под себя. Подошли к основному! Плечи: смотри карусель! 🏋🏻‍♀️Жим штанги из-за головы: 1 Положите штангу на плечи, сядьте с прямой спиной на скамью с наклоном 90 градусов, стопы плотно прижмите к полу. 2 Медленно поднимите штангу. 3 Опустите штангу на плечи и повторите упражнение. 🏋🏻‍♀️Тяга штанги к подбородку: 1 Возьмитесь за штангу с E- или Z-грифом узким прямым хватом. Расстояние между руками не должно превышать 15 см. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
