Yes that’s an elephant. I got your attention. Today I did not feel like training. The feeling wasn’t there. I stalled, tried justifying how today can be a rest day (I really just felt like chilling and being lazy). Wanna know what got me to shut up and do the work?_ I reminded myself what I want for my life and most importantly what I DONT WANT! Had a little boost from some #megawattv2 by @1stphorm and proceeded to get some leg work in. Sometimes it’s just starting that’s the hard part and having people around that’ll push you helps immensely. I’m grateful that I am healthy enough to exercise. Give this bodyweight accumulator a try! Plank into a kneeling tricep push-up. Return to plank position. Walking plank x 3 with a single in and out ab. Well....I had every intention of posting an ab workout tonight, but I just had a great bicep workout in my head that I couldn’t pass up! I tried something different tonight: instead of jumping around and doing many different exercises, I just picked 4 and did 10 reps of 10. So 400 reps total! This was my first time doing something like that, and let me tell ya my arms are shot😅 I highly recommend giving this a try because it helps increase muscle endurance, as well as giving you a more focused workout. Here are the moves I did: •alternating hammer curls on an incline bench •standard bicep curls with a 30 lb barbell •standing one-arm bicep curl over incline bench •bicep curl on cable machine with rope attachment Sorry for no videos tonight-gym was packed and I was on a roll🤷‍♀️ {side note-flexing was almost impossible for this picture🤣}

Happy Monday! 💗 Today’s workout was pretty intense ya’ll! It was a good one and I really decided to push myself with this workout! 💪🏽 It was a 10-1-10 ladder workout. This means that I completed all 5 exercises starting with 10 reps, then 9 reps, 8 reps, 7 reps, and so on all the way until 1 rep. Once I completed that, I began to climb back up the ladder again. I completed all the exercises again starting with 1 rep, then 2 reps, 3 reps, 4 reps, working my way all the way back up to 10 reps. All I needed today was a 15 lb. kettlebell and a set of 15 lb. dumbbells. There are so many ways you can modify this workout! ✨ You can complete the workout with very light weights or no weights. You can also scale the reps down to 5-1-5 or you can just complete the 10 reps all the way down to 1 rep and stop there without going back up the ladder! You can also modify it to make it more challenging by increasing the reps or increasing the weight. Always scale the workout to your fitness level that way you get in an effective workout without risking any injury (super important)! 👍🏽 #bwkfitness . Quick warm-up: 50 jump rope hops 50 jumping jacks 10 leg swings (each leg) 10 external and internal hip rotations (each side) . Ladder Workout: Perform each exercise for 10 reps, then 9, 8, and so on until 1 rep. Climb back up the ladder starting at 1 rep going back up to 10 reps. Kick outs DB clean and press Plank pike to ankle tap Alternating asymmetric KB rack squat Alternating lunge KB front raise . 10 minute cool-down/stretch at San Antonio, Texas

Upside down! 🙃 I’ve been going to physical therapy for a few weeks now for a cyst in my left wrist that has prevented me from doing handstands since June. Today is the first day I’ve tried to really put weight through my wrist in the rehab process and it felt ok! Crossing my fingers that it doesn’t cause inflammation 🤞🏼🤞🏼. Just wanted to use this as an example that an injury doesn’t have to stop you from being active! Most of the times, there will be ways to get a workout in without bothering your injury. Just might take a little bit of patience and creativity but the gains can always be made! Have a great week everyone 😀 at Crunch Fitness FH

Friday night I was almost done with my leg workout when I had to leave the gym for a slight emergency. I have to be honest, on the drive home I was arguing with myself if I should or shouldn't go to the apartment gym to finish my workout. I was pretty much done with everything I needed to do but I knew that if I had gone home without finishing everything I wasn't doing myself any favors. Sometimes you are not going to want to go to the gym. Somedays you are going to want to go home and finish your workout early. I assure you though, pushing yourself to finish and finish strong is an amazing feeling. Next time you find yourself struggling to finish a workout, remeber why you came in the first place and make yourself proud. at Fort Worth, Texas

Here’s the thing about working out. If you allow yourself to think about it, obsess over it and make a million excuses about why you can’t or don’t have time, you won’t do it. So instead. My advice: JUST DO IT. (There’s a reason that’s a million dollar Nike slogan 😂) I didn’t wanna today. Worked nights. Barely slept. Working again tonight. Stomach felt off. I allowed those excuses to consume me for about one hour. And then I STOPPED thinking, got into my workout clothes and BUSTED IT OUT. And now instead of a million excuses, I’ve got an attitude and spirit that is a MILLION times happier! ⁣ Workout number 2 for the day ✔️⁣ ⁣ Sadly there is no longer a #crossramp at the gym I went to this afternoon so I had to settle for my usual #elliptical session. I went 6.66 miles in 45 minutes at a resistance of 7 🏃‍♀️💦😈🤭⁣ ⁣ Earlier today I tried @questnutrition ranch flavored protein chips and as much as I wanted to like them, I don't. They are good initially but once they get wet the texture goes to crap and the flavor is gone super quick. I think I might try the BBQ ones and see if they're all that way but so far, that's my take ☹️👎⁣ ⁣ I'm always looking for suggestions on low calorie, high protein snacks so feel free to let me know some of your favorites! My go to is still @ONE1brands bars in birthday cake or maple glazed donut flavors. Small, manageable & ACHIEVABLE goals are crucial for success. This is how I have applied this... ———— I wanted to read more and workout before my work day started because I want my evenings to be spent with my wife or a doing a hobby, so the only other time is in the morning. ———— So I set my alarm for 6am. No expectations on what came after that, I just needed to start getting up. What naturally happened was that I had time to read so I began to read but this a was a bonus. ———— I did this for a week then decided to structure reading time into my morning. Now in my routine, I’m waking up at 6am and by 6:30am I am showered, fed and ready to sit down and read. This was the next weeks system, if anything else got added in it is just a bonus. ———— Now we’re in week 3 and I’ve added in 45 mins of GYM time after I wake up and before I read. It worked well today and hopefully will work well for the rest of the week. ———— Now there isn’t much time to add anything else in and when it comes to it, my new goal will be to get up at 5:30am if I want to add any more time to my morning. ———— I started by changing my alarm from 7am to 6am, a small change! ✨They’re so perfect they must poop glitter!✨ • Ugh sometimes social media can play such mind games with us! It’s so hard not to look at other peoples accounts and to compare. Why isn’t my stomach is flat as hers? Why isn’t my skin as smooth as hers? Why do I have more pimples on her? Why is my hair thinner than her? Why does she look happier than me? How can she take good pictures at such great angles? How is the lighting so perfect? How do her teeth look so white? Why she lost more weight than me and even quicker? It’s literally a never ending rabbit hole of comparison questions. Still to this day I struggle. I don’t think I’ll struggle ever go away truly. I think the comparison game is just something that we play but we have to manage. But how? • If I find that I am following account that is truly making me feel worse about myself, compare myself or is make me feel down in the dumps then I just click the on follow button. Doesn’t mean I don’t like the person or I don’t approve of what they’re doing I just need to guard my mind from my inner mean girl • Instead of picking The other person apart & trying to find their flaws, I think about things of myself I like. For me, I go above and beyond for people, I’m super hard-working, I care deeply About other people and I have the ability to make people feel comfortable & loved • A major thing that I’ve realised, is that social media really is just to highlight reel. I know that majority of people have other stuff going on, but they’re not being open and honest about the various reasons and a 15 second story or picture snapshot of a moment in time does not cover the full story of their life! I’m not saying I revel in other peoples pain but I just know that people are not perfect. • 👇I would love to hear the way that you deal with self comparison. What do you find yourself comparing to most in others? For me, it’s always my physical appearance!👇

I used to be so self conscious about my hair🙈 all I wanted was long, healthy, blonde hair but my hair would always break off & make me cry lol 😂 it was so damaged!!! {swipe to see my before 👉🏼😬} I tried SO MANY VITAMINS!!! I have always struggled with insecurity, depression and anxiety. After my baby boy was born I was at an all time low. I suffered bad from postpartum depression, I absolutely HATED how I looked. @shaunt told me “I need you to push. I need you to go.” So that’s what I did. It’s the last week of one of my FAVORITE workout programs ever. Trust me, it didn’t start that way. Not only have I been challenged physically, but mentally. How?!? I’ve always modified. I’ve always questioned my power. Luckily, with the magic that is Shaun T in my corner, I was able to commit to 20 minute workouts 6x a week. Far from perfect, I had days where I cursed, cried, and felt like stopping, but I didn’t. After adding a riser and getting out of my comfort zone...I did what he said I would do. I’m proud of my results. I made a habit, and now I love those 20 minutes with myself. I can’t wait to do this again...but now I’m looking forward and onto the next! #transform20 #sweatsesh
