Back and shoulders. At 16 weeks post- partum, I never would have dreamed that I’d ‘bounce back’ as quickly as I have. After a weekend of fun with my girls the LAST thing I wanted to do was push my limits. • But I did it anyway....the after effects are 100% worth it. . Another thing: I modified 60% of the workout because with my nutrition being a little off I indulged a little on dairy and my joint pain is back...👉 • Every day isn't going to be 100% balls to the wall but showing up and trying is where the ability to overcome your struggles happens❤ . Whatever it is - earn it. It’s so much sweeter that way. I remember the first time I tried Crow Pose in a Yoga class…I literally fell flat on my face. Even though nobody saw it because they were all looking at the ground, trying to stick their own Crow Post…I felt like a complete failure. I’m the type that tries over and over and over again until I get something and that’s how I became so resilient!! Never miss a Monday, right?? Today I had to really motivate myself to get downstairs and get moving. Not because I had to but because I knew my day would be better in general, I would be in a better mood and because I really and truly love to exercise! Even if I don’t feel like it sometimes, I still love it! . . Right now I’m hooked on streaming Les Mills workouts or going for a quick walk. I love Body Pump, Bodycombat & Bodyattack. . . I’ve always been self motivated and love working out at home. (Sometimes even in my pjs) 🤦🏼‍♀️ In the past though I have had numerous gym memberships too! I put on this top without even thinking today & I realized during my workout that I can’t be a success story if I can’t make it through my workouts😫I’ve been doing Shift Shop and anticipating the new release today (!!!) but even with modifications its still a bit too much on my knee right now. WHY YOU NEED A STRONG BACK… ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Too many of us have horrible posture and slouch throughout the day😥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The constant hunchback position actually weakens your back muscles over time and puts you at risk for chronic pain and injury...Not to mention, it ain’t cute ☹️….SO, let’s start thinking about the situation going on north of your booty gainz 🤣🍑 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Back workouts can be a bit of a challenge for those who prefer to workout at home, since you need to pull weight towards your body to activate the large upper back muscles… ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ HOWEVER, there’s always a way💡 .. if you’re trying to get your back workout in from home, try using loop bands (seated rows with the band looped around your feet works great) or performing a few sets of supermans💥 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re building a bulletproof back at the gym, bent over barbell rows, lat pull downs, and cable face pulls are some of my favourites 🙌 📷 @lamarharris1 #teamLLC at Toronto, Ontario

When I row, it’s not gently down the stream. Rowing uses full body, which is why it is such a good workout. It’s not just one single motion, there are ways to change it up like using an under grip to hit the biceps, pulling to one side for obliques, and using the upper back/shoulder blades to pull instead of triceps. This morning I did an interval workout that took 15 minutes yet had me looking as drenched as if I fell off a boat into the water. This may not be an actual boat, but I was booking it this morning. Check out the intervals below⬇️⬇️ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2 minutes under grip 1 minute full intensity normal grip 2 minutes shoulder blade pinch 1 minute full intensity 2 minutes row to right side 1 minute full intensity 2 minutes normal grip 2 minutes full intensity 2 minutes under grip/cool down at Life Time Fitness - Eagan

Welcome back to exercise 😅 Here’s my go-to workout post traveling... movement and mobility in one 🌟 • • This is my favorite combo of bodyweight exercises. Hits a little bit of everything, prioritizes single leg exercises, and I especially like that it focuses on mobility! Opens up the hip flexors, hamstrings, adductors, chest, and shoulders, which is perfect after traveling and sitting too much. -Don’t set resolutions, create habits- . Last week I started waking up earlier again, like 6am early. It was tough for the first 3 days, i’d crash by 11pm cause my day normally ends at 10pm. #CallMeOldButItIsWhatItIs . By the 5th day, my body got used to it and getting out of bed got easier as the day goes by. Scheduling in a #SweatSession makes a whole lot difference to set the tone of my day as well. . I finished my second round of #80dayobsession on Saturday and these are my official after photos that I took this morning. 🤳 My progress is not what it could have been. I have not been on point with my diet at all BUT I am proud of myself for showing up and doing the workouts every single day. I ate what I wanted this weekend without beating myself up about it. We went out to eat twice and had cake and ice cream to celebrate my sons 17th birthday 🎂 I barely had any veggies or fruits at all. 🤦🏼‍♀️But its ok, tomorrow is a new day! I have my healthy lunch all prepped and ready to go and am SO ready to get back on track. 🎯 I am starting Liift 4 in the morning and I plan on doing the leg and booty workouts from 80 day obsession on Wednesdays and Saturdays and taking Sundays as my rest day.✌🏼 We will see how this goes butI think I am going to love it! 💪🏼 at Klamath Falls, Oregon

I don’t LOVE to do legs twice a week but it’s unfair to train my upper body (in sections) 4 days a week and not train legs at least two! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❗️ Starving when I started this workout so eating half a protein bar for some fuel helped with some power ❗️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ➡️ Leg press 12, 10, 10, 8 - superset with crunches on the ball 3x20 ➡️ Leg extensions 12,12,10,10 - superset with leg curls 12,12,10,10 ➡️ Glute kickback machine 3x12 - superset with hanging leg raise 3x15 ➡️ Sumo squat 3x15 - superset with wood chop 3x15 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💥 I really enjoy adding core workouts in between leg workouts to prevent being too exhausted at the end of leg day to hit core!
