Making labels for the apple trees. 🌳 🔨 Thought it would be a quick job - Turns out it’s not, especially with a baby in the house 👶🏻 • • Day 4 - Making a list #mydailyrenovation

🎄Happy Saturday! Actually got a day to hang about the house. Little ‘un has a friend coming over but other than that, nothing happening at all. It’s Saturday! I’d quite like to be hauled up in this little house on the way to Castle Combe, sat by the fire with a good book living out my hermit lady fantasies. - #visitwiltshire #explore_britain #igerswiltshire #passionpassport #SWisbest

I don't think many bristolians have been seen wandering around the harbour yesterday evening. They said they would get back to me with a couple of questions. I think they were hiding in the morning but they were waiting for their train back to the office.

This little man was the first newborn I shot when we entered January 2019 - How is he nearly 1 already? I LOVED having him back in the studio for some birthday photos this week! 😍 emilymunday.co.uk  #newbornphotographer #babyphotographer #babyphotography #babyphotos #newbornphotos #plymouth #plymouthphotographer #plymouthphotostudio #emilymundayphotos #swisbest #babyphotoshoot #babyphoto #emilymundaystudio #gallery #homestudio #mundaynotmonday #baby #newborn #brandnew #devon #cornwall #plymouth #firstbirthday #happybirthday #cakesmash

Day 11/21 days off. . . . (written on Monday, delayed posting) Tomorrow afternoon we leave for London, so today is a day dedicated to preparing for that and for baking for birthday celebrations with friends at tomorrow's forest school session. With Prue's birthday approaching this week and Christmas at the end of the month I am starting to feel the drawing in of the end of the year and a stronger desire to finish the goals I started at the beginning of the year (declutter and simplify our belongings). I am all but done but we keep bouncing back in to clutter because I never have completely finished. So what started as me just tidying Prues bedroom escalated somewhat and ended with us doing the most mega clear out together. For children who I always see as having quite little in terms of possessions, we filled up three big bags of toys. It felt like Prue had been waiting for the green light for me to say let's see how your toys make you feel. Turns out she had been keeping toys for mine and others benefit as they had been presents or reminders of days out with them, but actually they stopped her getting in to the base of her wardrobe and having a den which is what she really wanted. Keep what brings you joy I urged. After I said that she completely relaxed and was allowed to sort her own toys judgement free. I could really feel the pressure she had put herself under, and the sacrifice she had made in her own space just to keep the things she felt other people wanted her to have. Leaving behind a tidy bedroom ready to welcome a chosen new toy from her trip to London (both children have their pocket money ready to search through all the big toy shops this week) feels so light and joyful. And it has definitely spurred me on to complete the rest of the house. . . . {image description: a late autumn, late afternoon shot of the west cliffs of porthtowan as the sun drops low and casts a golden glow and mist that rises from the sea}

JUST ME... and the crows, the wrens and the stonechats here enjoying the sunrise this morning! ✨ Beautifully still and quiet. Not as dramatic as two days ago but still a lovely start to the day. (Sound on). Perfect. 😍❤️😍 ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
