Final proper session before the British next Sunday. Video shows my last set of 330kg chain squat doubles and 325kg block pull doubles. Followed these up with 5 sets of 4 on beltless SSB. Got all 3 in today, Deadlift single at 523 working sets of 3 at 490. Really trying to work on squeezing the cheeks at the top of the lift, good lawd the lift is 10x easier when you do so. 2ct pause bench 4s between 226/242 goal is to stay tight at the bottom of the bench and stay tight through the lift. Pause squat 7s between 402/424 (424 shown) this will help with the squishing at the bottom. If you do not stay tight you will either get folded or shoot your knees back and fry your lower back due to the fact you will pretty much be doing a good morning with a shit ton of weight. #nobleperformance #nobleperformancepowerliftingclub #quality #usapl #usapowerlifting #teamrts #toasterstrudel #sbd at Noble Performance

It me and long time #TeamRTS lifter @musclesbybrussels. I'm pretty sure we were discussing scapular positioning on the bench press and getting tighter, but more so just happy we finally have a picture together. Coaching online is incredible and all, but nothing beats in-person coaching when it comes to improving technique and dialing-in what to work on. Some things are best communicated with physical cues instead of emails or Skype calls. Coaching with @reactivetrainingsystems the last 2 years has been nothing short of spectacular, and the RTS Brooklyn Seminar helped solidify that feeling. I've always been scared of torso lean in the low bar squat because I thought it would be considered a " good morning " so essentially what I would do to stay more upright was to " high bar " my " low bar" squat and I was able to get more upright by over extending. It's crazy because I could never understand why my erectors used to be so fired up after squats. It's has taken a long time to correct breathing , bracing and low bar squatting, but after viewing these squats today I couldn't be happier with how I'm moving in the condition I was in . Fun fact : red wine has a delayed hangover response. @ross_rts thanks for the quality/ consistant coaching!

✅ Vids of todays lifts, from left to right: squat 180kg; bench 127.5kg; deadlift 250kg. . ✅Squat didn’t go as desired, was a little off despite warm ups going really well. Played conservative to go 3/3 and not be silly, and just happy to get something out of it. . ✅Bench was very satisfying, after dealing with that bout of severe elbow/bicep tendinitis. In the circumstances, to tie my previous comp PR after benching the bar 7 weeks ago is a big win to take out of today. . ✅Deadlift, coming back to me at the right time. After a big 3-week trough, where it seemed like nosediving right before showtime, it bounced back this past two weeks to hit a triple bodyweight deadlift: a nice personal milestone. . ✅All in all, delighted with the result.
